Who says you have to use a traditional tablecloth? Blakeney suggests using scarves, dyed cloth, or craft paper to create a beautiful tablecloth. Napkins - mismatched vintage napkins add a variety of color to the scene.
Think about layers - small plates, large plates, and glassware.
