Most people have no idea that I lived in Minneapolis when #purplerain came out. My parents partied at First Avenue & 7th St Entry and the #tasteshowlounge….I remember vividly how folks were all abuzz about Prince and how he put Minneapolis on the MAP….say all that to say my parents made me a PRINCE superfan LOL.
