Ingredients: 1 lb ground chicken. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper. 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced red onion. Mayonnaise. Ketchup. Mustard.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, red bell pepper, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and form the mixture into 4 burger patties. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken patties for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until they are fully cooked and have a nice brown crust. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves and sliced tomatoes on the bottom bun, followed by a chicken patty with melted cheese. Top with sliced red onion and your choice of condiments mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Finish by placing the top bun on the burger. Serve hot and enjoy!
