Ingredients: 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined. 2 cups broccoli florets. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced. 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 tablespoon rice vinegar. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Sesame seeds for garnish optional. Green onions, sliced, for garnish optional.
Instructions: In a small bowl, mix hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Set aside. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, saut for 1 minute until fragrant. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and saut for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender. Return shrimp to the skillet and pour the hoisin sauce mixture over the shrimp and broccoli. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and coats the shrimp and broccoli. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
