y'all so we all agree Armin is a bit of a nerd. but i don't think he's a book nerd. like he doesn't really enjoy studying like a hobby he does it to keep his grades up and be a good student but not for entertainment. he's the type of student that just soaks it all in. as long as he's paying attention in class he'll never have to look a the notes again. he does like to read but mostly fantasy and some interesting non-fiction about supernatural stuffs.

Funnily enough, if you want a character powerful enough to do whatever the fuck they want because whos gonna stop them. Then I once again have to bring up Biscuits Oliva from Baki

Like thats his whole character. Hes called "Mr. Unchained" and "The Free-est Man on Earth" because hes so incredibly powerful that nothing can hinder him in anyway. To the point he seeks out ways to constrain himself. So that when he ignores those constraints, hes "free-er" because something is trying to limit his freedom, but cant.

Also hes fucken yolked as hell which is cool

anyway the pursuit of freedom might remind a lot of people of AOT but for me your decription of biscuit sounds more like luffy to me.

he wants to be king of the pirates and he wants to be free. he entered a line of murderers, robbers, and sometimes rapists to find the one piece and be free and if something pisses him off he just trains and fights until he can beat them and set himself and usually others free
