i have once again Royally Fuckt Myself re: bedtime (near 4am)

it's just. insane bc I have 0 digital tools at the studio & the "light table" is a shitty plastic box thing that's supremely uncomfortable to work on so I can't do anything resembling my usual technique of stacking sketch after sketch by turning down opacity on each previous step till i get something passable. also no symmetry.

so after a long day of "drawing" with my figurative hands tied behind my figurative back usually i'm really craving some Real Drawing. it's not that i don't wanna draw traditionally i'd just develop designs much faster digitally and THEN when they're actually finished I could eyeball em onto physical paper without wasting a metric fuckton of it for no reason.

Unserious mfs at the studio keep tattooing AI slop on people but I'M the problem bc my autistic ass needs specific instructions on how to sweep im order to do it the way the owner likes it (which is wrong and sloppy and faster than humanly possible btw, specifically asked me to sweep up dog shit with the indoor broom today... I say "asked" but it was more like deranged indignant screaming of a hopelessly drug-scrambled poser manchild loserrrr..... bro is Beyond Cooked)

I still have to rely on this space to get started for a myriad complicated logistical reasons but MAN am I gonna be much better off when I can set up my own tattooing room. Just hygienically like I may not be an experienced veteran tattooist but I don't need to be that in order to grasp the basics of germ theory and come up with an easily cleanable setup that's like... mostly tile or some shit. Vs what we have which is cluttered as fuck and constantly occupied (and shat in) by two dogs whomst I'm sure would be several shades lighter if their bitchass irresponsible owner gave them a bath once in his wretched life. 💀💀💀💀💀💀 I love the little buggers bc of course I do it's not their fault but animals don't belong in a tattoo studio 😭 Like it wouldn't be that hard to just keep em out of the tattoo / piercing rooms ffs. Or AT LEAST lock the door at night so they can't shit in the disintegrating faux leather sofa 🤢
