Hawks was right that this sort of commentary wasn't what the public needed to hear at this point given the uncertainty...but this self-reflection from Ryukyu would have made her a a good mentor to Class A especially after either of the war arcs.

Ryukyu was Ochako's mentor during her work study even if the manga did nothing with that despite the shared themes of how to move forward after failing to save people they wanted to save. Just...given how important Ochako was to the theme of "what does it mean to be a hero" in BNHA, it would have been more effective if Ochako had more meaningful connections to her hero mentors.

Minor costume adjustments/ Forgot I drew this Ryukyu

[Image description: Ryukyu in casual clothes and a redesigned costume. The costume is made up of spiked crimson thigh-high boots and armored gloves with a red tunic/dress slit up to the hip on both sides. The front of the tunic is emblazoned with a golden trim, and a logo which looks like three slashes from a set of claws across her chest. Her headpiece made of asymmetrical red spikes framing one eye while her hair falls over the other. The boots gave open toes and heels for when she transforms. Dressed casually, Ryuko is a petite but wiry woman in athletic shorts and a tank top. One of my relatives asked for a Ryuko drawing since she doesn't have much representation (⑉ ᷄ ⌳ ᷅ )ก

I really enjoyed this one! However for some reason the file was absolutely massive

I have no idea how or why that happened, but I had to download the photo since it wouldn't let me open it without crashing and finish it from there (˶> <˶)

Sorry if the quality is poor! I'm just glad I was able to salvage it (〃´∀`)
