Look, I have characters I hate. I have ships I dislike very much. But I'm not the type to go onto other people's posts or into their inboxes to say that to them about the characters then like.
I don't care for it. I see it too often that trolling ass anons will come into someone's inbox to say stupid things like "this character should die, they're useless, they're only carried by shipping/or whatever else". I think it's really immature and pathetic and honestly that person has a really boring life.
If I don't say myself that I hate a character or ship, I don't care for your slander on said character or ship because 9/10 you're just going to be an ass.
If I put a positive Miruko post out, don't need you to come in with "well, she sucks" and some other bullshit.
I'm also into other animes while exploring others. Like Jujutsu Kaisen! My favorite three are definitely Yuji, Sukuna and Takako. I have other favorite characters, I'll be honest.

Truth be told, when it comes to ships? Just do you, boo. I have my ships, you have yours.

If you say that you wouldn't answer his question after being threatened, the first response you get is "he'll fold you".
Okay? And?
Does that benefit Todo at all?
Like, imagine being a girl (or anybody) and some dude you do not know asked about your type of woman. That would be uncomfortable!!!
On top of that, these same people are acting like it's not weird that Todo asked people their type of women.
If in the story, others are confused and weirded out by Todo asking that question (let alone his general behavior), then why wouldn't I (or anybody) find it weird? 😭
They are just as weird.
"You'll get folded" and you're saying this to a stranger on the Internet over a FICTIONAL CHARACTER's actions.
A REAL PERSON over some FICTIONAL CHARACTER'S actions.
Todo is cool and all, but I seriously do think some of his fans overlook his flaws. Like, I'm aware that he's aggressive.
But not every second! We seen him not act hostile every second he is on screen. He asks about people's preferences to judge their character, but you're telling me Todo HAS TO TRY TO KILL THEM?
Keep in mind he got that question from Yuki. And she wasn't beating up people. So he couldn't be more like Yuki? Hm? He can't do that?
I know that and I find it... Lowkey kind of hypocritical he does because he doesn't show good character threatening and beating someone over their preferences like having a good personality.
I'm sorry... That's stupid.
Maybe if someone cussed him out, it could work because it seems like Todo never had someone to cuss him out and tell him how people is not taking to him going that approach.

"Are you fucking stupid? Do you like being an ass? Todo, you're not going to get a best friend, let alone a friend like that being a dick to someone over their preferences. There are going to be days (or weeks, or months) where you sit down to write and feel... disconnected. From your voice, from your characters, from your ideas. Like the person who used to write your stories just packed up and left.
They didn't. They're just tired. Here's how to keep writing anyway:
Lower the bar (Until it's on the floor)
You are not here to write something brilliant. You are here to write something. A paragraph. A sentence. A single line of dialogue. Movement matters way more than quality.
Write around the story
Don't force it. If you can't write the scene, try:
⋆ A character ramble / journal entry
⋆ A conversation that won't be included in the final draft
⋆ A list of things the character would never admit out loud
⋆ A messy summary of what should happen
Engage with the story from a different angle.
Borrow a voice until yours comes back
No, not with AI. Read something that feels close to what you want to write, or watch a scene that captures the tone, then write immediately after. Not to copy, to reignite your instincts.
Write the emotion, not the plot.
What is your character feeling in this moment? What are they afraid of? What do they want but won't say? What's being kept from them? The emotion leads, the plot catches up later.
Stop trying to "feel like a writer" first.
You don't write when you feel like a writer. You feel like a writer because you write.
You are still a writer, even on the days it feels distant. Especially then.
There are hardly any female werewolves because they break all the classic rules of femininity. They force you to confront female violence, strength, size, grotesqueness and uncontrollability. Historically female shapeshifters always shift into something dangerous (snake) or sleek (cat) or dainty (bird) but female werewolves ignore the masculine gaze completely.
