I can’t wait for September because I’m going to get my first tattoo in that month. I have always wanted to get myself some tattoos and I finally made the call (or in this case, sent the email) to get a tattoo consultation with the local tattoo artist. I have always had a lot of tattoo ideas in mind, but I was not sure of which one I would want to get as my first tattoo until I had stepped into the tattoo artist’s place.

I’m going to get a humpback whale tattoo on my either side of my ribs. With that in mind, I have come up with different ideas for a ‘back piece’. The one I really dig is a humpback on the right, and the skeleton of the whale on the left (both wrapped a little to the front of the ribs). Getting a snitch in the middle of my bad with its “wings” extended/wrapped to the side (below the whales) looks like a nice piece.

I just can’t wait!
