Challenge Update
Hello fellow whumpers. How are you this fine Thursday? Are you getting ready for Whumptober? Working on those fics? Preparing for Flufftober, Inktober or even Kinktober, if that’s your jam?? :)
I’m having a tough time staying focused at work today, so naturally I’m procrastinating and working on my plans for this event. And overthinking them, of course 😂
One change I’m thinking of making to the event is the posting of completed works. I think it would just put too much pressure on people to finish things, and I want this to be fun. Plus, we all have different tastes and I don’t want anyone to feel left out just because I don’t enjoy the type of whump they’re creating and didn’t reblog their fic. So I’m thinking this blog will just be for posting the challenge information and answering questions. (I want to make this light and fun without a lot of work on either my part or yours.) I think I’ll probably want to do some sort of recognition post though, so I may put together a list each month of participants i find in the tag. This is a work in progress, of course, so things might still change!!
I also had a request from a follower asking me to tag them when a new challenge comes out. I’m happy to do that for anyone else who requests it. The askbox will be ready to go in a day or two.
