sorry for strange wording: i agreed with you and meant to say that it tends to look bad when they're drawn pale on top of it being that it is lightening characters who are canonically darker skinned. medic tends to be drawn like yellow toned a lot for some reason, for example, and it just looks weird.

OH I’m sorry, I was misreading and thought you meant their canon colors looked bad in drawings. Thank you for the clarification! And I agree.
