Avery could hardly contain her excitement as she got ready for her date. Tyler was back in town after being away for almost a month. The older girl took a quick shower and headed into her room to look through her closet for something to wear. She should have done it earlier but she had spent the previous night at Ethan's and the thought didn't occur to her. After a few minutes of discarding outfits she finally found an outfit that would suit for the night. She looked herself over in the mirror a few times before working on her hair and makeup. This is why she hated being a girl sometimes, it took too long to get ready to go anywhere. Usually she wouldn't mind what she looked like but this was her first time seeing him in almost a month, well she did see him at school earlier in the day but that was different.
Avery had just finished doing her hair and putting on some light makeup when she heard the doorbell ring. She sighed and bit her lip while she decided whether or not to answer it. She should but she had to pick up the clothes she had previously disregarded so she decided to do that and allow one of her parents to answer it and let Tyler in.
