Tree hugging on behalf of a friend, in Tavistock Square of London, yesterday.
Why am I posting these horrible selfies… not sure. But it was a beautiful tree, and the friend apparently enjoyed the silly hug video they received - so I’m a bit happy it worked out.
I didn’t share the history of this tree, but it was a gift from Japan in 1967 to honor the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings. A beautiful sight, and a gentle rebuke of aggressive acts.
Today’s London Good Omens filming location - Tavistock Square, body swap and “time to leave the garden.”
I’m in London! Seeing Nye on Friday and wandered up to Soho in search of a particular bookshop…
Tavistock Square and Sky Garden on the itinerary too.
And a nightingale sang in Berkeley Square.
Another day, another gratuitous ineffable bench selfie
Tavistock Square has a really interesting mix of monuments and memorials.
