Okay but fun little idea for TAWC: what if the ancients put little statues of their beloved outside resting places for travelers? Sort of like Japanese jizo that protect those on the road and use their shelter. In a way, it shows the ancients regret of never taking reader with on adventures and contining to instil a silhouette of them for generations after.
Fun fact: The Ancients do have statues of Reader built in their kingdoms! Just giant ones
Affogato cookie mentioned a few chapters ago that he would always walk past a marble statue of Reader within the Black Citadel along with stories and songs made about them.
Smaller statues would also be built by other villagers in each kingdom as a symbol of protection as they heard so much of the magic cookie who was a healer and a dear companion to the Ancients. Hence why the bravegang know you amongst other cookies.
I’m sure in a future chapters Reader would visit each kingdom, walking past a small statue and would be like: “Hey, that statue looks like me” before walking pass more: “Huh, a whole lot of statues” then stopping at the giant statue in the middle of the kingdoms: “Wait-,”
Wouldn’t put it past White Lily cookie if she even requested a statue in the Faerie Kingdom lmao.
Also in the game, I made myself a small entrance with each Ancient and Beast cookie along the path entrance (with the addition of a certain Witch-)
