I actually studied business administration in university so not really the same as economics i guess. I specialized in taxation and since december i work for my country's tax administration.
At work I do value added tax and currently i manage company's tax files. So i answer questions, bother them when they didn't submit their vat declaration on time and just basic administration stuff. I'm also studying extra vat courses organised by the tax administration
Next year i'm going to be a proper tax inspector and bothering people even more doing tax audits 😂
Companies don't really like to see you coming so i guess it's a bit of a thankless job. But i like doing it and it's probably because of my ideology behind it. Like i don't think taxes are bad, they're actually necessary in this society so i feel useful on my job. You do need to get past accountants and lawyers' bullshit 😂
