Imagine walking in the hospital and seeing your baby girl like this, not knowing what happened. This is what I walked into 3 years ago today. . . . I woke up and got ready to go to my salon, also on a Diamond Beachbody meeting. The boys were sleeping and Taylor was getting ready to go to work. I was so busy trying to listen to our meeting as Taylor was calling my name from downstairs. She said, "Mom, I fed the dogs and I am leaving. Have a good day and I will call you later." I waved and said Thank you. 😕 That was the last time she walked out of our home (for now)🚶♀️ We talked during the day. I was getting my salon ready for a few new girls to start working with us the next day. She called me around 5pm and told me she was staying to ride until traffic died down. About an hour later I got the call that they were taking her to the hospital because she fell and they wanted to get her checked out. I never knew how bad it really was until I got there. June 8, 2016 we learned a whole new way of living. I learned that you must advocate for yourself and children ❤ Don't listen to diagnosis 🚫 You define your destiny 🌎 I have learned to appreciate handicap parking ♿ Stay in the driver's seat of your life. No one will understand your journey unless they have gone through it. Let people talk, they always will. Research, learn, educate yourself on what you are going through. Feed your mind with positivity and stay away from negativity. The naysayers. These past 3 years haven't been easy but it made me stronger than I have ever been. I am grateful for the people I have met along this journey, the people that stayed in our life, and for the people that left. So whatever life throws your way always stay in control of the situation and it's definitely okay to accept help 🙏❤ We are blessed to have you all in our life helping us through the rough times.
