Our excitement over this scene sparked tons of videos on twitter and TikTok - thanks to that so many people decided to binge watch the whole show during last hiatus. One perfect scene brought so many new fans - priceless when good ratings are so hard to get.

Then season 14 happened.

Last weekend, Taylor and Miranda were in Paris at Saving Lives Con. Nothing spectacular happened - I mean it was a wonderful to watch them for two days, don’t get me wrong. But they didn’t show any new footage since they haven’t started shooting new season. We saw a clip from old seasons. What’s more important, we got them - being totally themselves. Funny, sweet and cute. So proud of their characters, of their ship. Completely adorable around each other, as always. And now I see tons of tweets from people from other fandoms considering watching Chicago Fire for the very first time. Just because they saw two of them.

I think it’s about damn time people responsible for the show are gonna admit that Stellaride and Taylor and Miranda are the heart of this show. Yes, this is an ensemble cast, but even ensemble cast can have leads. Our leads are phenomenal and they deserve better. Better storylines, better treatment, better work environment.

So, look at two of them being absolutely adorable and let’s just hope that season 15 will be better, for all us.

What’s your expectation for season 14 when it comes to Stellaride like what you would hope to see

Ok, Anon, so I'm honestly going to be very biased here but idc because I don't know (or care) what else the rest of the ensemble is bringing to the season from a storyline perspective...

I need S14 to be a Stellaride season. Point. Blank. Period! 😫

14a is dedicated to the pregnancy, stella navigating working & the challenges that come with being pregnant working ff. I want to see the dynamics between her & Kelly & ho they navigate him being more protective.

I want fluff & domestic stellaride scenes of them going to the ultrasound appt, hearing the heartbeat, finding out the gender, talking about baby names & what's needed for the nursery. I need stella in those overalls from S4 over her bump as she "helps." Kelly put together the crib or rocking chair.

I want craving, hormones, Braxton hicks, labor & delivery. Kelly holding her hand like Stella held Jades hands. Kelly rubbing her forehead & telling her she did so good 🥹😭

I want to see the dynamics of the house change once they know stellas pregnant. I'm curious if the guys on Squad & engine will become super protective of Stella, especially when Kellys not there because they know thats their ass if something happens to her.

I want to see them hiding their snacks from Stella because they know she's going to come collect but not for her but for the baaaaby.

I want her transition to non active duty to be one of substance & not just her pushing paper!! REALLY WANT PEOPLE TO STOP TREATING PREGNANT WOMEN LIKE THEY'RE ON THE SICK & SHUT IN LIST.... It's 2025 PLEASE

Miranda hits 200 episodes this season, so Stella Kidd bottle episode, please? For real this time

14b is dedicated to them navigating parenthood. I want to see Stella anxious about leaving her baby girl to return to work. I need her harassing the babysitter for pictures & updates every hour on the hour & Kelly has to ground her from spinning out.

I want to see the dynamics of what Kelly decides to sacrifice versus Stella because I'm tired of the narrative always being the woman has to give up everything & the man nothing.

I want to see a close call that shakes them to their core and forces a very RAW/VULNERABLE conversation about what happens next.

I want to see some cutsey scenes at the loft & firehouse with baby girl.

They can go either PPD, mom guilt, or anxious mom route for Stella. Tie in the fact that she's an orphan & how now that she's a mom, the thought of not being there for their baby girl is making it hard for her to do her job effectively. I'd love for her to find support for those thoughts within & outside of Kelly. A working mom support group or her befriending another female ff that has kids. Talking it out & through.

If I think about it some more, then I can double this list, but ultimately, I need S14 to be dedicated to Stellaride because, let's be honest with ourselves here. They've been teasing this family arc for a while now & the fact that Stellaride may very will be the FIRST MAIN CHARACTER SHIP OF ONECHICAGO to have a pregnancy/birth is enough for them to dedicate the time & resources to get it RIGHT! Like this is history making & deserves to be executed at the highest level. I mean, just loooook at them! They deserve this.
