It is so funny to me to see art and fics with the Bad Batch characters just like... happily chilling with real clones as though their primary personality trait as a group upon being introduced wasn't "We hate real clones so much that we literally came up with our own slur just for them and have no problem telling them how meaningless their lives are and lording over them that we're more special than they are" and then that personality trait never actually got changed across three seasons of their show.

I'm so sorry, but those four assholes will never just happily chill with the real clones, that's just not in their DNA apparently.

The thing that makes me grind my teeth the most about people using the words “delulu” and “delusional” in regards to Tech probably being alive because we’re literally reading a million context clues we’ve been purposefully given, is that… are they not thinking of the mentally ill people? Are we just not considered or thought about? Do we not exist to them unless they see a quirky “inspirational post,” or if we have a problem right in front of them? Are we not real to the rest of the world?

Me: TBB often represents the clones as unlikable assholes in comparison to the Bad Batch characters.

TBB fans: No they don't! Do you think HOWZER is an unlikable asshole? Hah, check and mate!

Me: Howzer's whole introduction is him being a minor antagonist who sides with the Empire against the Twi'leks right up until the very end. His latest appearance places him in opposition to Crosshair and represents him as being unreasonable in his anger while Crosshair is the victim even though Crosshair is the one who murdered people Howzer cared about and never apologizes for it or even appears remotely remorseful about the pain he caused to Howzer. So while I do not PERSONALLY find Howzer an unlikeable asshole, I don't think the show really works that hard to write him that positively and it DOES place him in opposition to the Bad Batch where they are explicitly represented as better than he is.

I am SO FUCKING TIRED of Hunter trying to convince the clones to stop fighting for their lives or for the lives of other clones. Someone needs to deck Hunter and tell him to keep his selfish awful opinions to himself for once.

Hunter: All the clones can make their own choices now.

Me: Except for the ones who got left behind on Tantiss as troopers and the ones who you killed on Tantiss and all of the ones still out there stuck within the Empire and enslaved by the chip. But sure, the like... five or ten clones you managed to save are mostly free to make their own choices now.

Now that TBB is finally done, I hope we never get another animated "clone" story again.

I hope we finally get a REAL story about the clones and I hope it's done in live action so they can't get away with pretending a bunch of white people are clones of Temuera Morrison.

Give me a show about Rex, Gregor, Wolffe, and the clone rebellion against the Empire.

Give me a short film about Rex after ROTJ, finally able to find some peace in his life now that the Empire is gone.

Give me a short film about Rex meeting Luke for the first time and having to react to the revelation about Anakin's betrayal after he's already dead and the complex feelings that go along with that.

Give me the story of what happened to Cody. If he actually escaped the Empire, show me how he finds and reconnects with the rest of his brothers. If he didn't escape the Empire, show me how he is discovered and rescued by the other clones.

Give me a story of clones fighting within the Rebellion and their complex feelings about continuing to a fight a war and the relationships they build up with the other Rebels when they were used to only fighting alongside other clones.

There are SO MANY OPTIONS for actual stories about the clones that they have ignored for several years now in order to tell the story of a few whitewashed fake clones instead. We deserve a REAL story about the clones for once and I won't accept it being animated anymore, they've proven that they can't be trusted with animating the clones at this point. Give us the live action clone show we are OWED.

So Omega became a Rebel pilot… my new headcannon is that she went and was one of the pilots killed by Vader in New Hope!

That feels like giving her more credit and significance than she deserves, tbh.
