Sitting still is something the women in my family have never been known for. One of my daily challenges is to create a space of just being & not doing. To be a little more Mary & a little less Martha. To offer some balance to my inner thoughts that tell me to always be busy. To take a minute to listen for God's voice & set the intention of my heart to follow for the rest of the day. He always refreshes the picture in my mind of who I am and why that is a good thing. Absolute peace when I do. Especially on a Monday. When I come out of a #tbbdallas weekend where thousands of coaches in DFW come together to be inspired and learn more practically how to continue to create a life on their terms, for their families, for their babies..., well... I'm grateful. Because in that event I see so many other husband/wife partners & single moms & retired grandmas pushing and serving and doing... and I'm reminded of the life Donald and I are creating together & why we build a team with servant leadership at the heart. And we rub elbows with those who have gone before us and are showing us the path. They are giving us the tools to make the road smoother. We are reminded that the time and effort we put in now... to create the life we want later... is worth it. Do you have an ideal life in your head? Write it down. Keep it before you so as not to lose sight of it and give up hoping & working for it. It does exist. It is possible. But it all starts with dreaming it up first in the small quiet moments like this one. Cup of coffee in hand is totally optional... 💕 #liferedefined #lifefitnation (at angelballance.com)
