Today marks the first day of The Blue Castle Fanwork Month!

We’ll be celebrating by sharing The Blue Castle (TBC) fanfiction, fanart, and other fanworks (playlists, collages, etc) as well as kicking off:

The Blue Castle Fanfic & Fanart Challenge!

The Prompt:

What if…

What if it hadn’t rained on a certain day in May?

What if The Blue Castle was set in a different time period or location?

What if The Blue Castle was told from a different point of view?

What if your favorite OTP was in TBC plot?

What if Valancy’s grandfather Wansbarra was still alive?

The prompt is meant to inspire creativity not dampen it. If your idea doesn’t fit a ‘what if’ prompt: submit it anyways!! The only rule is: no AI.

Participants will have the full month to write/create and submit work (stay tuned for an Ao3 collection link.)

October 1 all submissions will be posted anonymously for 2 weeks in which time everyone can enjoy, comment, and attempt to guess creators before they're revealed!

This is day one's, and I'm simply planning on going through, catching what triggers inspiration, and seeing where it goes~ Check out the challenge <<HERE>>! Showcasing a couple of characters from @chasingmyfreedom and @climbing-the-redwood =w= I am so delighted with how this came out~ Makes me want to make a halo sheet for my precious child Cira Lemmons~

Cousin Georgiana dropped a teacup when the doorbell rang exactly at four o’clock, her fingers loosening due to a bad case of nerves she’d been steadily building up through the day. She thanked the Providence that it fell harmlessly on a cushion – it was one of Great Aunt Annabelle’s set, with little forget-me-nots and golden rim! – picked it up, put it carefully on the table where she intended to place it and, straightening her back, bravely walked to the door to face Doss’ husband. And dear Doss, of course, but she wasn’t afraid of her. So far Doss hadn’t been rumoured to kill anybody.
