One of my coworkers publicly humiliated me in a meeting this morning in a way that felt very intentional (and I strongly suspect was intentional due to our previous interactions). It happened in front of several people that I was just meeting for the first or second time too. I had to go off camera to cry lol.

idk if i've ever talked about it before but basically this is my beef with the "some so and so's marry so and so's get over it" shirts
and mind u i own one and have given them as gifts
i think if someone wears a shirt like that or anything relaying some sort of pro-lgbt+ rights message that relates to fandom, they need to realize it's literally doing shit to help a movement and a great big group of people that are very real and not some cutesy characters you can write into fics and manipulate for your own personal amusement. when i wear mine, it's like showing off any other sort of fandom merchandise i could own, and it's something that i'm proud of and want to share because fandom is important and it's not like i need to explain that to anyone here???? but if you wear it and you think oho who's the baddest ally bitch this side of the mississippi then someone needs to pee on your cornflakes because that's dumb don't do that don't be a dope
just be a nice ally or a nice member of the lgbt+ community or advocate for equality in other, actually effective ways and carry on with your ships in a mature and respectful manner (◡‿◡✿)
