i saw a post that said if 911 fans weren’t enjoying this season it’s because we were trying to apply real life logic to the show and we should stop doing that because it’s not real life it’s a soap and —
idk friends. maybe it’s the fact that i lived with english majors all through university and became their rubber duck for all their essays. or that i took creative writing classes all the way through where we talked about structure and plots. maybe i just watch a lot of tv and read a lot of books. (i definitely do that last one.) but i personally think that this season has sucked because — ever since they walked into the lab — 911 has shit on its own internal logic and every choice the show runners and writers have made since then have directly contradicted something they wrote into the earlier seasons. and that’s what makes it boring and tough to watch and why we’re not excited by it anymore.
