You’re well known for your content on tiktok where you share your life, the past few months your contact has shifted slightly without your followers noticing, you’ve taken a step back from doing try ons or any videos that show your body too much and have been making more videos showing new recipes, doing makeup tutorials or vlogs that showcase how your summer is going with short clips of good moments.
Opposite to you is Quinn, he’s quiet and private about his life, his camera roll is filled with pictures and videos of your time together, but those are for him only, so when his summer break dump features his girlfriend, who everyone kinda knew of but didn’t actually know who she was, a girlfriend who is very well known in the internet world everyone freaks out, and when the pictures feature a very prominent pregnancy belly well, the internet breaks.

⋆˚࿔ tina's note 𝜗𝜚˚⋆ I started this AU at the worst possible time ever because i can’t seem to finish anything i start writing but here’s a little something. ALSO i think this AU will be a lot more focused on mom’s pregnancy, at least for now, but if you have any ideas or anything you’d like me to write about for it lmk, my requests are always opened ◡̈
You’ve always been super open on the internet. Ever since you started making content you’ve shared most of your life online, but Quinn has always been your little private corner. When you started dating it was to protect your relationship during its early stages, later on it was because you’d seen how much Quinn valued his privacy, and then you just enjoyed having that little piece of your life being yours and yours only.
Since announcing your pregnancy, something you’d done with a simple instagram post of you and Quinn where your belly was visible captioned with some emojis and turning the comments off, you’d been pretty quiet online. You had done three posts since, two recipes and a scheduled ad and now your followers were asking for more, more pregnancy content, more of your day to day life.
You weren’t sure how to balance the privacy you had managed to keep safe for so long with your online presence, but you tried. You decided you could share bits and pieces of your pregnancy without compromising too much, so you posted a tiktok, one ranking your first trimester cravings.
The video showed you eating combinations you hadn’t touched in weeks, some weird things that you regretted now that your eating patterns had become somewhat normal again (Quinn would disagree with that statement, he wasn’t a fan of your new late night snack consisting of watermelon dipped in nacho cheese, but he will admit it’s a little better than your early cravings of peanut butter and mayo sandwiches) and some things that you knew you would continue to eat even after your pregnancy, the sweet potato fries dipped in marshmallow fluff were good. You even mentioned how Quinn felt about some of the combinations in the clips “My boyfriend absolutely HATED coming home and finding me eating these, but peanut butter and mayo sandwiches and fruit were the only things I could really keep in during the first few weeks” You said after deciding you were never eating those again.
Your followers loved the video and encouraged you to share more, so you did, next time you went to one of Quinn’s preseason games you filmed a get ready with me featuring the tiniest glimpse of Quinn as he left for the arena. That’s when the other side of the comments started rolling in.
I just can’t understand how Quinn is dating her.
He looked even more awkward than normal when he noticed she was filming him
He’s obviously super private and she’s just showing his bedroom like it’s nothing.
I just know he’s tired of her filming her whole life.
So you toned it down, went back to the kind of content you had been posting during the summer, you shared some fall recipes, posted some more scheduled ads, did a makeup tutorial, but that wasn’t enough for your followers, now that they knew you was starting a family they wanted to see that part of your life too, just like they had been when you’d graduated college, and when you’d decided to pursue content creation full time. Your audience had been a part of some big events in your life and now they wanted to be a part of this one.
It wasn’t unusual for Quinn to come home and find you sitting on the couch editing a video, you usually greeted him with a ‘welcome home’ from the couch and he’d join you in it for a few minutes before getting up to shower (because he felt the showers he took at the practice facility or the arena were just not good enough). Today though, you didn’t look up from your phone until he was sitting next to you “Hey” He said softly leaning down to give your forehead a kiss and then lower to kiss your belly.
“Hi” You mumbled scrolling through clips absentmindedly
“What are you editing?” He asked settling down next to you, pulling you closer with one of his hand rubbing your lower back where you’d been complaining about feeling pressure earlier
“I don’t know” You sighed out locking your phone and cuddling closer “This is not fun anymore”
“Too many clips to choose from?” Quinn teased “Or not enough?”
“I’m not sure” You could your throat tightening and your eyes starting to sting “I don’t know what to post anymore”
“Hey” Quinn frowned realizing there was something deeper happening, he’d never seen you look this distressed when talking about your job, stressed? Yes, more times that he could think of, but you generally enjoyed what you did “What happened?”
“It seems like everything I post is wrong” You choked out, hot tears streaming down your cheeks “If I post a recipe people want to know about the pregnancy, but if I post about the pregnancy I have to be careful because as soon as I mention you it’s suddenly too much” Quinn just holds you tighter, letting you get everything you need off your chest “But I can’t seem to talk about the pregnancy without mentioning you, I mean you did play a big role on this” You point to your stomach dramatically making your boyfriend chuckle “And the comments just feel like too much, I feel like I’m doing everything wrong yet I can’t seem to figure out what the right option is”
“The right option is whatever you feel comfortable with” Quinn moves back so you’re sitting face to face “You don’t owe anyone anything, this is your body, your account, your life, if people don’t like it then they don’t have to watch” He shrugs “Simple as that”
“But your privacy…” The look you’re giving him breaks his heart “We’ve been protecting that for years and I fear the comments are right, I just… got reckless, been filming in our room, our closet, the bathroom, showing your spaces, this apartment that’s supposed to be your safe space”
“Let me get one thing straight” His tone is firm, but you know he is not mad at you “YOU are my safe space, not this building, not these walls, you” He wipes more of your tears “And you haven’t even been showing more than what you already were, it’s just that now people know we share a space so some of the things in the background might be mine, which leads me to my next point, you said it yourself this is OUR apartment, it’s yours just as much as it is mine, hell you spend more time here than I do, so you don’t have to feel guilty for sharing that part of your life”
“But there’s so many comments” Your voice sounds coarse now
“They don’t speak for me, I think we’ve known each other long enough for you to know if something was bothering me I’d tell you” He says
“But you hate doing media” You sniffle
“Yeah I do” he sighs “Media interviews feel intrusive, like they are always waiting for me to slip up and say something wrong, you don’t feel like that, the way you record and edit, it feels like you are keeping a journal of your life and I love watching your videos while I’m on the road, they feel like home”
You smile at him, pull him close and kiss him “You stalk my tiktok on roadies?” You tease him
“Every single video” He nods proudly “Point is, post whatever you feel comfortable with baby, and this right here is my permission to use me as a prop whenever you need to”
“So you’ll film that trend I showed you last week with me?” You ask reminding him of the silly videos you’d sent to him
“Absolutely not” He shakes his head “No stupid trends and no naked shots, everything else is fair game”
“Alright” You nod and he kisses you again before getting up to go take a shower “So this solves the gap I had in this week’s vlog, I can now add my rant about your socks somehow never making it into the hamper”
“Maybe you ARE violating my privacy” He jokes but stops when he notices your smile falter “Sorry too soon, post whatever you want baby, I love you”

— She’s super open about everything in her life including her relationship but with that its sort of a private but not secret where she talks about having a boyfriend but never really shows him or say any details about him.
Mom & Dad: Their story/pregnancy
— Quinn and mom met through Arya who has done mom’s family’s makeup for special events for years now.
— Mom was going to a wedding last minute and Arya was around to do her makeup so mom went to Quinn’s apartment to get her makeup done.
— Quinn was immediately crushing on mom and Arya noticed so she played matchmaker inviting mom over to hangout whenever she was around.
— Mom and Quinn started dating a few months after meeting. (like 2-3 months after but they did take their relationship slow at the beginning)
— In the iwheo timeline mom and Quinn start dating when the twins are around one and they get pregnant when the twins are around three.
— the pregnancy comes as a surprise but not a shock.
— Mom and Quinn had talked about it jokingly but up until then they had taken the relationship kinda slow so it wasn’t something they were actually planning.
— They did get a bit reckless with protection and thats why it wasn’t shocking to find out they were expecting.
— They find out together because mom’s been feeling sick and after practice Quinn is going to the store to get some stuff and mom’s like “hey soo can you pick up a few extra things?” and Quinn is like “Sure” and he thinks it will be like pads or tampons or snacks but mom’s list is more like napkins, sour cream and onion lays, iced tea and a few pregnancy tests.
— They find out just as the season is ending and she’s pregnant all throughout the summer break just chilling at the lake house.
— They don’t tell anyone other than their families and closest friends.
— Mom’s extra careful with her content because they are keeping the pregnancy secret but it’s all kind of the same she just doesn’t do full body shots, no one really suspects anything.
— The twins are like in love with her bump and the idea that there’s a baby hiding in there.
— Quinn is super protective and clingy through the whole pregnancy.
— Mom has it rough throughout it all because she has emetophobia so morning sickness is an absolute nightmare, she barely eats and she can’t sleep most nights, she refuses to go on the boat and feels super guilty about not spending enough time with everyone because she’s always anxious about throwing up.
— Quinn is always there for her and helps her through everything, always makes sure that she eats enough and if she’s not sleeping he’s not sleeping.
— The whole family is always trying to help and make life easier for mom and she feels super guilty about it but they all love her and reassure her that it’s okay.
— They finally announce the pregnancy at the end of the summer break when Quinn posts his summer break dump on instagram.
— Everyone goes crazy because yeah they kinda knew that Quinn had a girlfriend but what do you mean it’s the content creator that shares all of her life online?
