Date rescue. (G.Graham)
Pairings: Garrett Graham x fem!reader
Summary: you're on a date with a total douche who keeps bragging about playing on the AHL and (unknowingly) fanboying over your best friend who thankfully makes an apperance just in time to rescue you from a nightmare date.
Word count: 1.2k
âËàż tina's note đđËâ I got this idea at 2AM while half asleep and rambled it to my notes app because I was too tired to type then laughed this morning when I read the note back because it's literally me going "And like the date is an asshole and he's talking about like⊠and like⊠but like⊠and then Garrett like⊠and blah blah blah and like⊠and yeah that's it" but here's the (hopefully) better version of my 2AM ramblings
Off campus masterlist
The only redeeming quality of this date is honestly the fact that you won't have to pay for the food and wine you've had. This restaurant is not one you'll usually choose, it's not your style, too fancy and grand for your liking. Your date is⊠well let's just say you highly doubt there will be a second date.
"So you say you went to where for college?" He asks after finishing a rant about the latest crypto he invested in.
"Oh, I went to Briar!" You perk up a little at him finally showing some kind of interest into you "In Massachusetts, I-"
Of course, he cuts you off "Yeah, I know of Briar, it has one of the best hockey programs in the country, it was one of my options but I felt Michigan calling out for me more"
"Oh yeah, you play hockey right? I have friends who do too" You comment.
He scoffs "You do, don't you? Well sweetheart I'm in the AHL right now, I bet your friends have heard of me, I'm NHL bound any day now"
"Oh really?" You ask with a raised eyebrow, you don't tell him about your two friends breaking records with the Bruins right now "Are you playing here in Boston?"
"No no, I'm with the Islanders" He says, you quickly comb through your hockey knowledge, remembering Garret say something about how the Islanders were bottom three teams in the AHL right now but you choose to keep the information to yourself for now "Just in town visiting some friends and having dates with beautiful women apparently"
"Got lots of those?" You tease jokingly but his reply comes serious.
"A few, not a great dating pool around here honestly" He shrugs "It's just a thing of our generation, women trying too hard to prove something" You give him a slow nod curious to see where this horrible point of him goes "Like just yesterday I was out with this girl who kept arguing with me about how she wouldn't quit her job as a doctor even if she was dating an athlete like me with a packed schedule so she could take care of the kids"
"That'sâŠ" You don't even know what to say and thankfully (?) you don't have to say anything because he's not done.
"Like, you have to understand one thing about me honey, I already have a brutal schedule with hockey right now but as soon as I make it to the NHL it's gonna get worse" He shrugs "I need a woman who understands that. There's too few of them around now and I think that's the reason current legends like Graham stay single"
"Garret?" You ask.
"Oh you know of him? Yeah, total beast on the ice"
You nod "I went to college with him"
Your date laughs "Oh I bet you were running around behind him for a bit of attention huh?"
"Uh not exactly" You can't wait to be done with this date.
"Oh come on honey, it's Garret Graham, legend, if not for his hockey skills then for his legacy, his dad was a beast too, really look up Phil Graham" You're not going to lie that hearing him fanboy over one of your best friends is kinda funny, but the guy is annoying to no end so you start thinking of exiting strategies "I'm already on my way up there with him" He's not, you hadn't even heard his name until now and you like to think you are somewhat well versed in the hockey world "Someday you'll be bragging about having gone on a date with me"
You're still thinking about a good excuse to leave the date when the restaurant door opens, you look that way because anything is better than the douche in front of you and you see him, your best friend, Garrett Graham, he notices you too and smiles warmly.
"Holy shit" You hear your date gasp "It's Garret Graham, and he's looking this way, I bet he recognized me from our last game against Boston"
And no matter how much of an asshole this guy is you still can't find it in yourself to break his heart so you plan on letting him believe that's the reason Garret looked your way, but your friend has other plans because he approaches your table, attention solely on you as he leans down to pull you into a warm hug and kissing the side of your head on his way up.
"Hey Tink! What are you doing here?" He asks, the nickname he gave you years ago flowing out, your date, who still hasn't been aknowledged stares in absolute shock.
"Hi Gar, I'm uh⊠dinner" You motion to the guy sitting in front of you and Garret finally turns his way.
"Oh hey man" He greets with a nod and his attention is back on you "You gonna introduce me to your friend?"
"This is Dave" You don't have to say anything else, Garrett has always been an expert in reading you, he already clocked how this date is going.
"Well, nice to meet you Dave" His words are polite but there's none of the warmth he's had towards you "I'm just here for a quick meeting with my agent, but why don't you wait at the bar for me when you're done here? 15 minutes top?" You nod and he leans down to kiss your forehead again "I'll open up a tab and have your drink waiting for when you're ready" Then he turns to Dave and says "Nice to meet you Gabe" And he leaves.
You fight a chuckle and see his shoulders shaking as he walks away.
A little later, Garrett's turning on the engine of his Jeep, a newer model of the one he had back in college, but before he pulls out of the parking lot he speaks "I just don't know why you insist on going out with those idiots when I'm right here"
"What and miss Dave's NHL debut?" You joke but you know he's right and you're not sure why you're still going out on pointless dates "I heard Bridgeport might have a chance at the playoffs this season, I might get a WAG jacket"
"He's in the AHL?" Garret makes a face, you nod with a laugh "Tink, the chances of Bridgeport making it to the playoffs are lower than Dean being able to recreate Tuck's chicken pot pie recipe successfuly" You burst out laughing remembering the time you had to call the fire department because Tucker was away visiting his mom in Texas and Dean insisted he just had to have chicken pot pie.
"Holy shit I'd forgotten about that" You wipe tears out of your eyes "The firefighters looked so disappointed when Dean asked if he could still eat the food"
Garett looks at you with a wide smile and loving stare "Do you think the WAGs will give me a discount for the fee because we're halfway through the season already?" His question could be taken as a joke, but you know him and you know he's being earnest "Or will they charge me a late fee? What size jacket do you wear? And you can't get mad at me for not knowing, you always end up stealing mine anyways but I don't think you want a Garrett sized WAG jacket"
"Gar slow down" You stop him and he freezes up realizing he's probably gone too far and you're about to tell him you don't see him that way but instead you grin at him "You have to get to the playoffs first, we can't go jinxing it with all this planning ahead"

Chapter 9
Pairings: Joe Keery x costar single mom!reader
Summary: After becoming a single mom at 21, you decided to abandon your dreams of ever becoming an actress, but with a push of your sister you audition for the biggest new Netflix show and get the part, now you navigate the world of fame while juggling motherhood and love. // An Easter together might change everything for your family.
Word count: 2.1k
âËàż tina's note đđËâ Shortest chapter ever but I have not abandoned this story I just haven't had motivation to continue it. I might put in in pause for now so I wanted to give you at least a little bit of a closing (not an ending, I will eventually come back to it) scene for the time being.
JK Masterlist
An Easter in New York.
Co-parenting long(er) distance surprisingly doesn't take too much work to get used to, the timezone change makes it so that Joe and Caroline can have calls before school multiple times a day which helps her troubles at drop off. Joe flies back to San Jose for her birthday which she celebrates with cupcakes and pizza at school and then cake at home with you, Joe, your sister and her boyfriend but when the holidays role around there's an awkward air floating around.
For as long as you've been together, your little family has spent Christmas and New Years with the Keerys. This year you compromise and fly to Massachusetts alongside your daughter and sister where you get a hotel against the family's insistance for you to stay with them like always, instead you spend Christmas morning opening presents with them retreating before dinner.
Joe hates that it's come to this. He hates everything about the situation, how there's two chairs missing at the dinner table, for you and your sister, hates how cold his bed feels without you in it at night, but most of all, he hates himself for putting you in this situation to begin with.
The day after Christmas you come over to say goodbye to everyone, Caroline is staying behind and celebrating New Years here while you do so in California. Once again, Joe's family try to convince you to cancel your flight, stay here, there's even the implication of kicking Joe out to stay at a hotel himself, he agrees to the suggestion quickly, you deny it and fly out.
The regret is instant when you wake up on with a massive headache at an unfamiliar hotel room next to a stranger on New Years Day. You fight a nasty nausea all the way to your house, not sure if it comes from your hangover, the fear of the man going online and posting about it, or the sheer regret of what you did. It takes a few days for you to shake the whole thing off, after there's no posts about it online that part of your fear goes away, but you still feel dirty about the situation.
You've never been one for one night stands, figuring out quickly the summer after high school that sex was always linked with intimacy for your brain and that it made you become attached, that's why you always strayed away from hookups, that's why Sawyer's words had hurt so much back when he dumped you. This time around though, your night with the stranger didn't make you wish for more with him, it just confirmed that you were absolutely not over Joe.
Spring Break comes around lining up perfectly with the beginning of The Hunger Games press tour in New York and Easter meaning Caroline gets to spend it with Joe. His plan took, in Joe's opinion, a ridiculous amount of time, but somehow he convinved you to spend the weekend with him at one of his friends' country house.
So here you are, Saturday afternoon, after two days of media scheduled all day, standing on the hallway of his new apartment. You haven't been here before, but you know he quickly got to work to transform what was meant to be a guest room into Caroline's bedroom, and that he also has a home studio in the other guest room and honestly, you always act like you're not paying attention when he calls Caroline at nights but you always are, so much so that you think you may have memorized the layout of the apartment by now,
"Hey!" He opens the door with a big smile "Come in, come in, Care's just finishing up her snack and then we can go" He takes your bag from your hand, just a small duffel with essentials.
"Mommy, over here!" Caroline squealed running through the yard. The kids, Joe's friend's, running around looking for eggs while you and another mom, Hattie, walk behind them chatting.
Joe was looking from the deck while having a beer with his friends "SoâŠ. have you decided to get your head out of your ass and get your girl back?" Colbyn asks, They've been friends since college, plus he's Cassie's older brother so they inevitably ran in the same circles more often than not.
"Dunno what you're talking about" He takes another sip of her beer.
"Oh come on, you're an actor, at least try to act better" Colbyn laughed "You're looking at her like it hurts you to be away from her sidewhen she's like 10 feet away"
"When the hell did you become a philosopher?" Joe asks with a raised brow.
"Shit bro, it's the dad wisdom" He jokes, Colbyn and his wife just welcomed a baby not too long ago and the shift from the Colbyn he knew back in college to Dad Colbyn is astronomical "You should use some of yours for more than just writing songs"
"I'm giving her time and space" Joe sighs "It's complicated"
"You love her, she loves you, you're both just too stubborn to do anything about it" Colbyn's wife, Maria approaches handing him the baby "Hey dude, wanna hang out with uncle Joey?"
In a matter of seconds Joe has a month old baby in his arms and his beer is long forgotten as Colbyn and Maria retreat to the couches a few steps away.
"Daddy!" Caroline comes barreling but he manages to shift the baby so she doesn't crash into him, her mouth agape in awe at the tiny human in his arms "Woah, he's little"
"Yes he is" Joe nods with a smile "So we have to be careful"
Caroline nods and they both sit on the porch stairs "Was I ever this little?"
Joe's stunned by her question, he wants to say yes but the truth is he doesn't really know, he wasn't around until she was a few months older "You were" You come to the rescue settling next to Caroline who quickly settles in your lap "But you grew up real quick. Too quick actually"
"Huh" The little girl hums "Do you have pictures?"
"I do" You nod "Wanna see them?"
It's her turn to nod "With daddy?"
"I'm sorry babe, I don't have pictures of you and daddy when you were that little, but i do have some from when you were just a little bit older"
"Still a baby?"
"Still a baby"
"You were the cutest baby ever" Joe adds.
"He's cute" Your daughter seems to have moved on from the pictures because her whole attention is back on the baby "Can I hold him?"
"You've gotta be real careful okay?" Joe moves him so he rests in Caroline's lap who is in your lap so really you're holding both of the making sure that his head is properly supported.
"Woah" Caroline lets out and yeah, the sentiment is mutual for Joe "Can we get one?"
"Some day, maybe" You tell her and Joe's not sure if you mean it or if you consider him a part of that some day but he knows then and there for sure that he's gonna do everything in his power from now on so he is.
You wake up early the next morning, too early. Your daughter has always been an early riser, you not so much, but you can't leave your five year old alone in a strange house so you get up with her and you both head out to the backyard so you don't wake the rest of the people in the house.
You're sitting on the porch steps while Caroline plays in the outdoor playground they have here when Joe walks out, he has two cups of coffee and hands you one before sitting next to you. It's been a while since you two were like this.
"You sleep well?" He asks, you hum in agreement "Too early huh?"
"Way too early" You groan "Why are you up?"
"I got used to her schedule and never got out of it" He shrugs. Joe used to be the one up with her in the mornings when you lived together most of the time.
"Oh"
He nods "I've missed this" You don't say anything, just sip on your coffee, truth is seeing them together all day yesterday and spending time all together brought you back to the way things were even if only for the moment "What are we doing?"
"I don't know" You whisper because it's true, you miss it too, but you're not sure how to go back to the way it was so instead of trying to come up with something you just place your head on his shoulder, he moves closer melting into you.
"Daddy!" Caroline approaches and you think the momen'ts gone but Joe just scoops her into his lap and once she's settled he puts his free arm around you.
You stay like that for a while, Caroline having gotten a lot of her energy out laid comfortably against his chest, you snuggled into his side while sipping your coffee, there's no words exchanged but they are not needed, not yet.
"Auntie Cass is home!" Her voice travels through the open back doors and you wake up from whatever haze you were in, you move away and tense up because what the hell are you doing? Joe is not your anymore, last you saw him and Cass were getting close so why are you playing house with him right now?
"I- I shouldn't have⊠I'm sorry" You say with wide eyes then get up "I'm gonna go pack"
Joe looks confused by the sudden change "I brought breakfast as an apology from missing yesterday, get in here before the good donuts get taken" Cass pokes her head out.
"Come on Care-bear" He gets up with the girl still in his arms and sits her down at the table looking at Maria "Can you watch her for a minute?" The woman nods already asking Caroline what she'd like.
He doesn't knock when he reaches the guest room where you and Caroline were staying and walks in to see you sitting on the bed with your open bag next to you and your head in your hands. He says your name softly but you don't look up because you know if you do you'll break down.
"Come on baby talk to me what happened?" The pet name comes out so naturally he doesn't even register it.
"I can't" You shake your head.
"You can't what?" You feel the mattress shift as he sits next to you "Please talk to me"
"I can't let myself do that again" You finally admit "I don't know if I can be around you anymore" Joe swears he hears his own heart crack right there "Because you're not mine anymore and apparently my heart hasn't gotten the memo yet. And it's not fair because Cass seems lovely and the last thing I want to do is come between you but then it's just us three and I⊠I don't know, I forget things are different now"
Joe's frowning now because he has no ide where the Cass thing is coming from "I don't have anything going on with Cass, or anyone actually, she's just a friend, Kate and her have been best friends for as long as I can remember and Colbyn's her brother, we met in college and became friends because our sisters were" He explains "I don't hold any feeling for her that are not platonic. And yes, things are diferent between us, but I kinda hate it" You are looking at him now, teary eyes and confusion in your face "Please don't cry honey" He reaches over and wipes your cheeks "I miss you and I miss Caroline and I wish things could just go back to the way they were" You're about to say something but he doesn't let you "And I know that can't just magically happen overnight and I have been trying to be patient for you but it's killing me so please baby, tell me you feel the same, tell me there's something we can do to try"
You don't even know what to say, you just drop your head into his chest and keep crying because you're feeling everything you've kept bottled in so deeply right now. "I'm sorry" You apologize between sobs.
"You have nothing to apologize for" He rubs your back and kisses the top of your head.
"I miss you so much" You let out, he holds you tighter.
And things will not go back to normal instantly, you know there's a lot of work you'll need to do, and you're still living in different parts of the country, but you choose to put in the work, you choose to give it another chance because this is your family, Joe, Caroline and you.

can we get an alternate ending to the john tucker fiđđ
I donât know if Iâd write a full one because I think in an alternate universe he did fall in love with Sabrina (but also holds some love for reader still) and the story went like in the book. They did bump into each other in while on that walk and that was just kind of the closure that they both needed, reader moved on with her life, saw Tucker maybe once or twice again over the years but nothing happened.
Would you ever write Logan finding out about her hooking up with Dean and Beau at the same time if he didnât already know? Or the girls find out?
I imagine it probably happened randomly one day at the off campus house while readerâs not around. Sheâs probably working or something and everyone else is hanging out and then Dean jokingly letâs it out.
Maybe he makes a joke about Logan thinking he liked Hannah and how heâs glad that didnât happen with him and reader and Loganâs like huh? And Dean realizes Logan didnât know and it gets all awkward with the group.
And thatâs when reader walks in and sheâs confused as to why everyoneâs sitting quietly.
âWe need to talkâ Logan blurts out as soon as sheâs closed the door.
âOkay?â He doesnât say anything more until theyâre in his bedroom.
Outside the group of college students stay in silence for a few more seconds and then chaos.
âWhat the fuck was that?â Allie asks, not angry but full of curiosity.
âDid you hook up with her?â Tucker questions.
âDude, Dean!â Hannah exclaims âDidnât she have a thing with Beau? Is there no bro code with you?â
Dean doesnât say anything for a few seconds and his silence makes everything click for Garrett who laughs âThereâs no way sheâsâŠâ
âYeahâ Dean nods resigned.
Garrettâs full on laughing now, Tucker seems confused for a second and then he realizes whatâs happening and lets out a âOh shitâ
âSomebody explain!â The girls are begging for an explanation.
In Loganâs room reader has just told him about the ONE time she hooked up with Dean and Beau and how it was just a one time thing that never happened again and it was before she even knew who Dean was outside being Beauâs friend.
Logan is in shock and she thinks this is it and heâll break up with her but after the longest silence ever heâs just like âIâm not mad at you, I just need to process thisâ So they stay in his room for the rest of the night.
The next morning Logan wakes up before reader and goes downstairs to get coffee, the other guys are already there and they freeze when he walks in.
Dean tries to apologize but Logan stops him âNoâ He puts his hand up âNo, we never talk about it again, it never happened just⊠noâ
hii i hope ur doing good, i want to request a beau maxwell x oc basically they dated in hs for like a year he broke up with her before they got into briar u n she had managed to not cross paths with him till they saw each other again and she couldnât escape the situation and they end up talking maybe implying they hooked up again
thx!!
Hi! I changed the x oc part and made it an x reader (I'm so sorry) but you can find the request here!
A second chance
Pairings: Beau Maxwell x fem!reader
Based on this request: i want to request a beau maxwell x oc basically they dated in hs for like a year he broke up with her before they got into briar u n she had managed to not cross paths with him till they saw each other again and she couldnât escape the situation and they end up talking maybe implying they hooked up again.
Word count: 1.6k
âËàż tina's note đđËâ First, I wanna apologize for not making this an x oc but it started that way and then I realized I would have to create a whole background for the oc and I don't really like doing that unless I'm doing a whole multi-part story so sorry. This took longer than expected to write and it came out too short so I'm sorry for that too. And finally, I can't stop making these boys absolute yearners help.
Off campus masterlist
Class, work, library, gym, dorm. That had been your life since starting at Briar.
Maintaining the scholarship youâd worked so hard for was your only goal.
There was no time for parties, no time for sports, no time for boyfriends.
âYouâre gonna burnoutâ Your friend Tina said âYou canât keep going like this.
âOf course I can, Iâve been doing it the whole yearâ You shrugged.
âBut itâs my birthdayâ Tina pouted âCome on, come out with us tonight, just one nightâÂ
You considered it, the paper you were working on was almost done and not due for another 4 days, you had the day off of work and Tinaâs pleading eyes were pretty convincing âFineâ You finally sighed âBut only for a little bitâ
âYes!â The blonde hugged you tight âMaloneâs at 8, itâs karaoke nightâÂ
Maloneâs at night was a completely different place from what you were used to, sometimes you ran in here during your lunch break or in between lessons if there was enough time to grab some food to go but youâd never been here at night when the place converted into a bar.
âYouâre here!â Tina somehow spots you as soon as you walk through the doors âGirl the entire hockey team is hereâÂ
âAnd some of the football team tooâ Maggie, your other friend points out passing you a shot glass âThe quarterback this season? HOT, heâs a freshman too which means maybe Iâll have a chanceâ She wiggles her eyebrows.
You freeze, the new football quarterback, Beau Maxwell, your ex boyfriend.
Your high school boyfriend who broke up with you only a few days after your first anniversary. His reasoning? College.
He was planning on focusing on his football career and he didnât want to stand in between you and your education because he knew how hard youâd worked for your scholarship.
You wanted to argue, tell him that the only reason youâd been killing yourself with so much school work had been because of your shared plans to make it to Briar together. Because your parents didnât have the money his did to put you through a private college comfortably, but they did have enough money for you to go to community college and you had the grades to make it in without slaving yourself over your studies.Â
In fact, that had been your first choice, you didnât mind staying home and going to community college, but Beau had put the idea of Briar U together in your head back when you were just friends and your decision had been final when you finally started dating.
But you didnât argue, you accepted the breakup and tried to move on, you were already well on your way to start at Briar so you pushed through, spent the whole fall semester with your head in your books ignoring all the noise about football season.
And it worked, it was now almost summer, the end of your freshman year, and you hadnât had a single interaction with him. You werenât even sure if he knew you were in the same campus as him.
The drinks flowed nicely, you joined Tina and Maggie at their booth where more friends were sitting, you did a few shots and nursed a drink for a few hours, you were having fun and thankfully the place was crowded enough that you hadnât seen Beau all night.Â
âYou have to sing with me!â Tina was begging you, she was a bit more tipsy than you by now âAnd you tooâ she pointed at Maggie âOh my god, weâre doing Mamma Mia!âÂ
You didnât even get a chance to protest before she was at the bar signing you up. âGuess weâre Donna and the Dynamos tonightâ Maggie shrugged sipping on her beer.
A little later your names were announced and as much as you tried complaining to your friends wouldnât let you stay in your seat. Tina and Maggie were already on the stage by the time you begrudgingly made your way over.Â
âWooâ Allie shouted your name from the booth âLetâs go!â This is what you get for being friends with the theater kids.
Beau stopped mid sentence at the sound of your name, there was no way it was actually you, other people have the same name as you right?Â
He knew you were at Briar, heâd seen you around campus a few times, busy and focused as always. He had stopped himself from reaching out more than once, he had broken up with you after all.
But then he looked at the stage and there you were, beautiful as ever, and looking more free than you have in a while.
Super Trouper by ABBA started playing and you and your friends took your places as if you were in Mamma Mia and Beau swears the atmosphere changed completely as if he was in one of the romance movies him and Joana watch every time theyâre together.
And then your eyes found his and time warped all around you. A few seconds felt like long minutes and nothing at all at the same time. You missed your next line but thankfully your friends kept going like nothing had happened.
When the song finished you all but ran back to your booth and got your jacket to leave âOkay, thatâs it for me guys, love you, byeâ You rushed out.
âNooo, weâre having so much fun, donât go!â Tina whined.
âI know but itâs late and I work early tomorrowâ You excuse yourself.
âOkay well, be safe, text us when you get homeâ Allie nods.
You turn around to leave but instead find yourself blocked by someone.Â
Beau.
He couldnât take it anymore. Seeing you up in that stage made him realize just how much he had messed up by letting you go.
Youâd almost forgotten how your name sounded from his lips. Almost. Your body though, apparently didnât get the memo that youâre no longer together because it completely relaxed before your brain reminded it that it was not supposed to react that way.
Behind you, your friends were shocked by the fact that the new hotshot quarterback was standing in front of you calling your name, not to mention the fact that he looked like he was a moment away from falling on his knees for you.
âBeauâ You said.
âShitâ He cursed âCan we talk?âÂ
âI was just leavingâ You told him hoping that was enough for him to let you leave.Â
âIâll walk youâ He said âIâd offer to drive you but Iâve had a few drinksâÂ
âYou really donât have toâ You insisted.
âOr we can get a taxi?â You knew the tone he was using, it was the same one he used that one time he forgot you had a date because they were on a two game losing streak and practices were running late back in high school, it was the âIâm genuinely sorry please let me make it up to you somehowâ tone.
âI donât wanna take you away from the partyâ You told him looking back at a group of girls where he was standing before, they looked impatient for him to go back.Â
âPlease?â You sighed giving him a small nod, as always, you canât resist against him.
The walk back to your dorm was quiet for a while. Like he was trying to figure out how to start the conversation.Â
It wasnât until you entered your street that he spoke âIâm sorryâ You didnât look at him, just kept your eyes to the front âLike genuinely, Iâm really sorry. For breaking up with you like that, for giving you shit reasons, for not fighting more for usâÂ
âThen whyâd you do it?âÂ
âBecause Iâm stupidâ You reached your dorm âBecause I saw what college did to my brotherâs relationship, and Joanna kept talking about how much fun she was having being single and how glad she was to not be tied to someoneâÂ
âAnd also because everyone around kept talking about how busy I was going to get with practice and games and classes, and I didnât want to keep you waiting or make you feel like you were second to football all the timeâ He continued âAnd for a while I tried to convince myself that Iâd done the right thing but really I feel empty all the time. And alone, all those parties filled with people? They donât matter because as much as I try to let them distract me I always end up staring at the door waiting for you to walk inâÂ
âBeau-â You tried to speak but he stopped you.
âI love you. I know I never said it back when we were together but I need you to know that I love you and every day for the past year Iâve spent wishing I could go back in time and not let all the noise get in my headâÂ
Now, you knew your friends would never approve of this, well, at least Allie wouldnât. But hearing Beau say those three words is enough for you to give in.
âBeau?â He finally let you speak, big eyes stared into your âIâm gonna really need your actions to speak for your words if weâre going to try this againâÂ
âYesâ He nodded immediately âYes, yes baby. AnythingâÂ
âOkayâÂ
âOkay?â
âOkayâÂ
âSo can I kiss you now?â You laughed and nodded, in an instant his lips were on yours âFuck baby you have no idea how much Iâve missed youâÂ
âWhy donât you show me?â He all but growled âYou know, that thing about your actions?â
âMhmâ He barely pulled away from your lips as you spoke âWhereâs your dorm?âÂ

bean there at 5?
You stare at your phone screen with reproach as if you hadn't just sent the message yourself. There's no immediate response, logically you know it is because he is probably on the ice at practice while his phone is in the locker room but the waiting makes you heart pound at twice the normal speed.
Absolutely, see you there
His response comes at 3:32, immediately after he gets off the ice.
It's been almost three months since you went on a break. A mutually agreed break, not a breakup but enough distance to feel the space and re-explore options.
It happened after you realized how much your lives revolved around each other. Your friends had pointed it out one night when he showed up to the bar you were at for girl's night with his friends, the catch? He hadn't shown up because he was a toxic asshole who didn't trust you, he'd shown up because you'd asked him to.
When you brought up your concerns he told you about the comments his friends had made, how it wasn't healthy that you two had met right at the beginning of freshman year and hadn't separated ever since, even when you swore up and down that you weren't a couple back then trying to prove it with random hookups (or a foursome, in Tucker's side) that ended with one of you calling the other straight after.
So yeah, you agreed a break would be beneficial for both of you. You however, disagreed on the terms of said break, you pushed for him to be able to sleep with other women, insisting that it was part of the reason you needed the break, he argued he didn't need to sleep with anyone else because he knew you were the one for him.
Now, almost three months later you had no idea if he'd stuck to his initial argument or not, but you had not slept with anyone. You'd gotten drunk one night and made out with Justin Kohl, but regretted it immediately after and hadn't been with anyone else since.
Bean there had been a popular date spot for the two of you, which was the reason you hadn't been back since the break. The place hadn't changed much, the polaroid wall had grown significally, but everything else looked the same, even the baristas who smiled at you when you walked in.
"I'll take an ice mocha and an americano please" You ordered at the counter.
"Absolutely" Mila, the barista you knew by name because of how often you used to come in before, said "You wanna add a cinnammon roll to that?"
You thought about it for a second, surprised that she remembered, Tuck would always order one for you to share, even though you'd end up eating most of it "Yeah, thanks"
Your usual table is occupied by three girls with their heads burried in text books and flashcards sprawled across the surface so you take a different one.
"Hey" He walks up behind you, because he always insisted he took the seat facing the door in case there was an emergency.
"Hi" You expected this to be a little awkward, but the way he's acting, with a tense frame and his hands stuffed in his pockets hesitating his every move, puts you in high alert "I got you an americano"
"Oh, yeah, uh, thanks" You motion for him to sit down and he hurriedly takes his jacket off and does so "I- uh- how are you?"
"I think I'm the one who should be asking you that" You chuckle nervously because he looks like he'd rather be anywhere but here right now.
He takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and then blurts out five words you never expected to hear out of him "I got a girl pregnant"
You're not sure you heard him right so you ask him to repeat himself.
"I⊠I hooked up with this girl a few weeks ago and⊠she's pregnant" You swallow thickly because what the fuck?
He expects you to get up screaming, dump your coffee on him, make a scene, anything, but instead you close your eyes, nod slowly, stand up and leave quietly.
He wants to get up and chase you but his body doesn't respond to his brain, or rather his brain is not working properly right now because this is not how he had wanted this meeting to go. He had a plan, you'd catch up and then he'd tell you about it and apologize and assure you that while yes, he was planning on being a part of his kid's life, he still wanted you more than anything else.
He wasn't supposed to freeze up and blurt those words like that, he had a speech prepared.
But now he sat there alone at your favorite coffee spot with a melting iced mocha, a cold americano and a hardening cinnammon roll.
You make it about a block away before you have to run into the, thankfully conveniently placed, campus toilets to puke. When you're done and rinsing your mouth you can't help but to wonder if Tucker's new girl is experiencing morning sickness.
Tucker's new girl.
The thought of calling another girl Tucker's girl is enough to make you nauseous again, you breath in and out, splash some water on your face and walk out, the clean air making your head feel a little less cloudy.
"Hey, you okay?" It's Hannah and Garrett standing in front of you.
Garrett calls your name after you don't reply "Shit, should we call Tuck?"
"No" Hannah replies fast "Or yes? I don't know⊠let's just⊠here, let's sit yeah?
They lead you to a bench nearby and sit with you.
"Are you okay?" She asks again.
"Yeah" You manage to let out, but your ears are still ringing and your hands are trembling.
"Do you want me to call Tuck?" Garrett's already pulling his phone out and that's what makes you snap out of whatever daze you were in.
"No!" You all but slap the phone out of his hands "No, no⊠I'm okay, I'm fine" You stand up.
"Wait! " Hannah calls, Garrett looks confused "Are you sure? Can we at least give you a ride?" You wonder if they know.
"I think I need to walk, thank you though" And you're gone.
"Should we like⊠follow her?" Hannah asks her boyfriend who's already standing up.
"Yup" He nods "And I'm absolutely calling Tuck and finding out what this is about, he said they were going out for coffee today"
Turns out, he doesn't have to call his friend because as soon as they make sure you're safely inside your apartment, even though you have no idea they were following, the 'SOS house meeting' text comes from Logan.
"Well that explains things" Garrett mutters after the news are dropped.
"The hell are you talking about?" Dean asks, he's still trying to catch up and he's sure he heard wrong because there's no way one of his best friends just announced he's having a baby with Sabrina James.
"Hannah and I saw y/n earlier, she looked like death. I imagine she got the news before us" The captain explains.
"Wait, where does she fall in all of this I thought you two were only on a break" Logan asks.
"We were⊠we are"
"No, if what you just said is true I'm pretty sure you're broken up with dude" Dean jumps in "And she's so valid for it, Sabrina James, really? Out of anyone you could've cheated on your perfect girl with, you went for Sabrina fucking James?"
"I didn't cheat on her, we were on a break" Tucker defends.
Dean snorts sarcastically "Yeah okay Ross"
"And you don't get to talk about the mother of my child like that"
"Like what? Like a fucking homewrecker? Because that's what she is Tuck! And it is cheating! Double cheating if you think about it because from what I can remember you were the one who pushed for not sleeping with other people while on break" Dean and Tucker are now face to face, Logan and Garrett flanking one each ready for the moment they inevitably will have to break up a fight.
"Shut the fuck up Dean, you have no idea what you're talking about"
"I think I do, you're ruining your life, she's ruining your life, and you know it, that's why you're this angry" Dean pushes through, done with the conversation and ready to leave the house.
"No, I'm angry because my best friends are not being supportive in a moment when I need them to be" Tuck lets out before the blonde can walk out.
"Of course I'm not going to support you when you're being a complete idiot" The blonde spats out and leaves.
You on the other hand, are in your apartment livingroom with all the lights off sitting in somewhat of a catatonic state. You imagine if someone saw you right now and knew the whole context of the situation they'd call you ridiculous.
But you can't believe you have found yourself in this situation, because months ago, before the break, you'd been talking about your plans for the future, about how Tucker felt like he needed to go back to Texas because he owed it to his mom, but how he wasn't sure that was what he actually wanted. You'd talked about the business possibilities for him back home that would allow both of you to live comfortably enough and maybe get a house up north to be close to your friends ar some point in the future.
You'd been in his family house with his mom showing you baby pictures and pointing out clothes he had ben wearing that she'd saved for his future children, your future children. You knew his grandmother's ring was tucked safely and, to his knowledge, secretly inside his latest skates box.
You had a future planned, you'd go back to Texas and work your assess of, him with whatever business he chose, you would make use of your special education degree, get married, have kids, eventually, and live happily ever after.
Those plans had disappeared in just 5 words.
And now you were left with the uncertainty of what came next.
Because the break was supposed to answer that concretely, and it had. It made you realize what you already knew, that you wanted it all with Tucker.
But you couldn't have that, not anymore.
Because he had broken his own rule, he had slept with someone else.
And now he was having a baby with another girl.
You didn't sleep that night, in fact you didn't even get up from your spot in the couch until your alarm went off at 6am.
You went through your morning routine like a robot programmed to move with eficiency. Then you walked to your first lecture because no matter how shitty your personal life was, the rest of it didn't stop.
Allie and Hannah found you on your way back to your apartment after your last class. You didn't even notice them by your side until Allie said your name.
"Are you okay?" She asked and then answered herself when you looked at her with glassy eyes "Right, dumb question"
Hannah gave her a look "Can we stay with you for a while?" You nodded and the three of you didn't speak until you were back inside your place.
"This is not me excusing him or trying to make you guilty of anything because I think he should be feeling this way but he does feel terrible" Allie says once you're all seated in your sofa.
"And we know you probably feel horrible but if I've learned anything in therapy is that you should talk about it" Hannah adds.
"I don't know what to say" You admit "It just feels like my life crumbled in an instant and I- I couldn't do anything about it" You shake your head "No, it feels like I had been blinded by this fake sense of safety while everything around me had already broken"
"Oh babe" Allie pulls you in when your shoulders start shaking and tears fall down.
"I went into the coffee shop thinking I'd come out of it in his arms" You say in between shaky breaths "And the worse part is that I don't think I can blame him for sleeping with someone else when I told him it was okay to do so, and him having this kid and being in their life is the most Tucker thing ever I can't even be mad at him for it"
"You can be mad" Hannah says "He told you he wouldn't sleep with anyone else and then he went and did it anyways"
"We were on a break"
"That was complete bullshit by the way" Allie adds "You kissed someone and then felt guilty about it for a week straight, you kept asking us for updates on him and I he wouldn't go a day without asking about you"
There's a knock on the door.
"That must be Grace" Hannah goes to open the door.
"Alright, crisis package, dinner from Malone's, half the shelves of candy from the gas station, every ice cream tub that didn't sound gross and wine curtesy of one John Logan because I still can't buy alcohol myself" Grace, who had been shy and skittish when you first met her but was now that you were friends a total firecraker, lifted her arms full of bags.
"Thanks Gracie" You mutter.
You're 30 minutes into Chicago when Dean, who'd joined right before you decided to start the movie informing that he was a part of the 'hating John Tucker club' spoke up "You know, I told Allie once that we could sic Logan on her ex, I think we could do the same with yours"
"You're not beating up your best friend" You tell him, no matter how messed up the situation is for your relationship with Tucker, you know he's going to need a support system now more than ever and the guys have to be that for him.
"And you're not using my boyfriend for your twisted ideas" Grace adds.
"Okay, fair, no Logan, but I think I can take him on myself" The blonde nods sipping on his wine, the sight of him is so comical that if you weren't teetering towards a meltdown you'd laugh. He has a sheet face mask on, his hair is held back with a bunny hairband and he's sipping on a half empty glass of cheap rosé.
"Sure you can big boy" Allie pats him on the arm and shakes her head at you from behind him.
"Thanks for being here guys" You say.
"Hey! We're family" You wish that was true, but you know things have to change, these are Tucker's people and you don't plan on taking them away from him or making them choose sides, you don't plan on abandoning them all together, but you do need to put some distance between you.
You nail the distance part, it's easy when everyone is rushing around during their last few weeks of class before graduation. You don't talk to Tucker at all, at some points his messages stop coming in and last you heard about him he'd decided to stay and move to Boston, you hadn't been looking for that information, rather his mom had called you and told you.
And while you still had no contact with Tucker, his mom was a whole other challenge. She'd called regularly, tried to convince you to talk to him and was dead set you would be getting back together.
You'd since chosen to forgive Tucker.
Not that you'd told him that, but you held no resentment anymore, you decided you needed to move on.
So you got a job, in Boston because you didn't have enough money to move anywhere else, plus even if you did, you had no idea where you'd go.
And then, when your life was just starting to take shape again, destiny, or whatever grand power that existed decided that you just needed to reconnect with him.
You are struggling with the books and binders in your arms that didn't fit into your bag, student papers threatening to fall out when you pump into a stroller.
"I'm so sorry" You look up only to be shocked by the person in front of you. Tucker.
"y/n" Your name sounds irrationally unnatural yet so familiar out of his lips.
"Tuck, hi" then the baby makes a sound, tiny and bothered, like a complaint to her father for stopping "Oh"
"Uh, this is James" He doesn't know what to say, over the past 8 months he's been trying to come up with multiple scenarios of what he would do if he were ever in this position again and now that he has you here he doesn't know what to say.
You nod and give him a small smile "Cute, congratulations" Then you lift up the books in your arms "I've gotta go, got some work to do, have a nice day"
"You too" Tucker lets out because he is an idiot but then he curses himself and turns around calling your name "Any chance we could meet up? I think we uh⊠I think I owe you a talk"
"Oh⊠I- um" You don't know what to say, you want to, you really want to, but you're not sure it is the best idea. You know him and Sabrina are not together, both his mom and the girls made sure you knew that, still, you can't help but to think you meeting up with him will mess something up between them, something neither of you can afford "I don't know Tuck"
"Okay" He sighs resigned "But if you ever decide you do want to talk, my number is the same"
You nod and walk away.
A week, it's all it takes for you to crumble.
In your defense, you weren't planning on texting him, not until Tucker told Logan that he'd seen you and asked to talk and then Logan told Grace who told Hannah who told Allie who told Dean, because thankfully the two were back to being friends, and Dean reached out.
"You don't owe him anything" He'd said "And I know he really hurt you, but I do think if there's even a speck of a chance of wanting to hear him out you should. I know I would've really regretted not talking with him"
And so here you are, walking into a coffee shop that reminds you a little too much of Bean There. Tucker's already at a table with his drink, yours and a cinnammon roll in between waiting for you.
"Thank you" It's the first thing he says after your initial, awkward, greetings "For hearing me out"
"Don't thank me yet" You try to joke "I just got here"
He nods "And you can leave whenever you want"
"SoâŠ"
"I hated myself the moment I realized what I'd done. Before I even knew she was pregnant, I'd already decided I was going to tell you about it" He cuts to the chase "But it wasn't something I thought I should tell you over a text or a call and then for one reason or another I never found the time to meet up with you, the team was drowning, I was swamped with assignments and Dean was going through his Allie crisis"
"Okay" You nod and take a sip of your iced mocha.
"I'm sorry, I know that doesn't change anything but I really am, because I promised I wouldn't do that to you and then I went and I broke that promise"
"We were on a break" You spew out the same words you've been using to justify the situation this whole time "You were free to sleep with whoever you wanted, in fact, I told you you should sleep with other people"
"I didn't want to though" He lets out "That's the thing. I was angry that night, mom was putting pressure on me for my plans to come back, and I still wasn't used to not being able to just call you and none of my friends seemed to be around and I just⊠I don't even know why I did it, I just know I regretted it the second it was over"
"I kissed Justin Kohl and then had a week long meltdown over it" You admit, you don't know why, but you feel like you have to.
He laughs because yeah, that sounds like you, you've always been an overthinker, never been able to acept things happened and move on quickly.
"I'm not with Sabrina" He tells you "I'm not telling you that thinking you'll just take me back, but I think you should know. We tried, a couple months after I told you about the pregnancy we thought maybe we could try to become something more, give our kid a typical family, but we couldn't. She was extremely busy with school and the pregnancy and I couldn't get you out of my head for a moment. So we decided we were better as just co-parents"
"I don't know what to tell you" You say.
He nods "That's fair"
"I'm not mad at you anymore, haven't been in a while" You don't look up at him while you speak, afraid of what you'll find in his eyes if you do "I think you did the right thing for yourself, the Tucker thing"
"I think so too" He nods even though you don't see him "But only halfway"
"You're missing your mom" You say remembering how his future plans always included his mom, no matter how much they changed, she was a part of every single one of them.
"No" He replies fast, you look up with raised eyebrows "Well yes, but⊠I'm also missing you" He admits "After we met there was never a version of my future I could picture without you in it. And then I went and I fucked up and I think about that every single day"
"Tuck-" He shakes his head stopping you.
"I know you probably want nothing to do with me anymore. But if this is goodbye I need you to know you'll always be it for me, I will spend the rest of my life wishing I could go back and do things right"
"Tuck" Your gaze softens and you place a hand on top of his "You can't say that. You don't mean that, because if things had gone differently you wouldn't have your daughter and I know for a fact you don't regret her, you wouldn't, ever, because that's not the kind of person you are John Tucker"
"So either way it's a lose lose huh?" He sighs, his fingers intertwining with yours.
You close your eyes and take a deep breath hoping you won't regret this "You haven't lost me" His expression lightens up "I mean, I don't know if we'll ever go back to the way it used to be, we're not that people anymore. But we also dont't have to be strangers, we can't, there's too much history between us"
"You have no idea what this means to me" He lets out a shaky chuckle "You know I'm a patient hardworking man baby, we'll get there, it will take time, and things will be different, I know that, but I also know we belong together"
"You're sounding awfully cocky over there sir" You joke.
"Oh honey you have no idea"
You really don't.
Because over the course of that year John Tucker embeds himself so deeply into your life without you realizing just how much he does so.
It's in the little things, morning messages, check in calls, lunch dates, iced mochas and cinnammon rolls.
By the time you catch up with him, he's showing you his new business, a bar.
A bar with a duplex on top of it, one unit completed as a safe space for his daughter and her mother, the other a work in progress, way smaller, something not definite, a place to rest until life gives him back all those plans he had with you.
Eventually you meet Sabrina and James and you're surprised to find the woman being so open about the father of his daughter dating another woman, she's a bit cold at first, overprotective of her daughter as any mom would if another woman was brought into her life the way you were.
But then, one night when Tucker was downstairs swamped with bar work she knocked on Tucker's unit, baby monitor in one hand, glass of wine in the other, a peace offering, even though there was no conflict between you. An apology that was not needed, and a new friendship request.
"We're going to be in each other lives for the rest of out time in earth" She'd said "I've seen the way Tucker looks at you, I saw him when you weren't around and there's no doubt in my head that he will never let you go again. But that also means you'll be in James' life and I just hope you can someday love her as much as you love him. So what I'm trying to say is, I'd like it if you and I were friends, or cordial at least"
You'd fallen in love with James from the first time you spent some time with her. The little girl was all the good traits of her parents combined, and you already loved Tucker and had come to respect Sabrina so much that the task seemed effortless.
She was the flower girl on your wedding, then there the day her little sister was born, and when her little brother did too, and her and Sabrina were there for first birthdays and first words and first steps. And you vacationed together at the family farm in Texas for a few weeks every year.
In the end, your life with Tucker seemed nothing like you'd planned, but you knew now that you wouldn't change a thing because you loved your non-typical family. You loved your kids having a bonus mom and you loved your three kids and you loved your husband and they were all healthy and happy and nothing else mattered.

Baby Fever (M.Diaz)
Pairings: Mateo Diaz x fem!reader
Summary: Coming in to the Pitt on your day off to help a lending hand with baby Jane Doe you realize just how much you enjoy the sight of your boyfriend holding a baby.
Word count: 921
âËàż tina's note đđËâ First time writing for the pitt but you've all caught me in a very loving Jalen Thomas Brooks era of my life and we NEED more Mateo and Tucker fics.
âHey, arenât you off today?â Robby asks when you walk through the doors of the pitt, heâs right, you left yesterday bragging about having two whole days off and your plans of spending the entire time in bed.
âCouldnât let you leave without saying goodbyeâ You wink, Robby leaving is not something youâre thrilled about, but heâs a grown man who can make his own decisions plus heâs the most stubborn person you know and even with everyone trying to convince him this trip is a bad idea heâs still set on getting on his bike after his shift is done âPlus Dana called, said you need someone to watch over a babyâ
âYeah, baby Jane Doe, got abandoned in the bathroom this morning, sheâs doing okay I think, weâre trying to find her a placement but until then sheâs stuck in the peds roomâ He explains.
âWell, Iâve got her until then, or until my next shift at leastâ You smile at him.
âGreat, remember to sleep when she doesâ He reminds âAnd-â
âDr.Robby weâve got a 16 year old with a gunshot wound to the chestâ Javadi rushes in with a patient in a gurney.
âTrauma 2, right behind youâ He lets out âIâll come see you laterâ And he was off.
âHey honeyâ Dana greets you âThanks for coming in, weâre all hands on deck today, especially with the screens downâ
âNo problem, Iâm glad to get my fix of baby cuddlesâ You tell her.
âIâm sure a certain someone will be glad youâre quenching your baby feverâ She teases, your relationship with Mateo is not supposed to be a secret, but youâre both very private about your outside lives. The only reason Dana knows about it is because last month after a particularly rough shift that had a lot of the day crew covering hours way into the night shift and losing a patient sent you into a panic attack he was the one youâd asked for when she found you curled up in a storage closet. After youâd calmed down youâd come clean to Dana about it and sheâd promised to keep the information to herself.
âWe have no time for a babyâ You shrug âNot right nowâ
âI hear yaâ She says directing you to the peds room âMy babies are all grown up and I still think I need more hours in the dayâ
âOh my God sheâs tiny!â You say standing in front of the bassinet sheâs laying in âHi sweet girlâ
âSheâs due for a bottle in an hour and someone will probably come for a check up at some point later todayâ Dana explains as you pick her up âIâll leave you to itâ
You donât say anything back because youâre already enchanted by the little girl in your arms.
You donât even realize youâve fallen asleep or how long itâs been, you just remember changing and feeding her and next thing you know youâre being waken up by your boyfriend.
âHey babyâ His voice is soft and quiet as to not disturb the baby or your sleepy state.
âHeyâ You rub your eyes with one hand âWhat time is it? Are you on shift already?â
âIâm like 25 minutes earlyâ He shrugs âYou look comfyâ
âI amâ You reply, youâre laid on the recliner next to the beds while baby Jane Doe rests on your chest, and you have a donated quilt over you both âI love baby cuddlesâ
âDonât go getting any ideas nowâ He teases.
âDonât let me catch you holding her thenâ You shrug smiling.
âOh Mateo, youâre earlyâ Princess walks into the room âYou wanna check on her?â
âNot clocked in yetâ He tells her âI should probably go do that. Iâll see you later? Come find me before you leaveâ
âYeahâ You say and he leans down to kiss your forehead before leaving.
âJesusâ Princess sighs shaking his head âIf you donât come back to your next shift pregnant Iâll be surprisedâ
âPrincess!â You exclaim with wide eyes making her laugh.
A few hours later you find yourself outside of the hospital picking up some food you ordered, two sub sandwiches (one for you and one for Mateo) and a whole tray of cookies for the rest of the staff. When you walk back though, you find your boyfriend in the peds room with baby Jane Doe in his arms as Ellis does a check up on her.
âShe seems to be doing perfectly fine, just needs her next feed probablyâ
âSo remind me again, how much maternity leave do we get?â You ask from the door.
âNot nearly enoughâ Ellis replies âIâve gotta go check on another patient, good luckâ She pats Mateoâs arm and walks out.
âDonât look at me like thatâ He smiles at you, the baby still in his arms.
âI warned youâ You raise your eyebrows at him âShit you look hot with a baby in your armsâ
âHey! No swearing in front of the tiny earsâ He scolds you âAlso, I was just doing my job and helping Ellis with the check upâ
âSo why are you still holding her then?â You ask, he looks down at her with the softest look ever and you decide then being here with him holding a baby is way too dangerous âYou ready for a break? I got you a sub?â
âHell yeahâ He sighs out putting the baby down in her bed.
âNow whoâs cursing in front of the baby?â
walk with me here, a story where reader is in After Hours and sheâs like hooking up with Justin but then he goes through that whole Hannah arc and so sheâs bitter over it because he went from being all over her to ignoring her for someone else so then on the night of the fundraiser they play silver springs and its basically like that one performance (you know exactly which) and he realizes what he did and is regretting it but plot twist because Tuckerâs mesmerized by her and her performance and she ends up saving horses that night đ (but i donât write smut and i have like 6 wips right now so i canât write it but i want someone else to write it and tag me)
we had it all. (J.Logan)

âËàż tina's note đđËâ I've always been a Logan girl so here we are. I used a bit of Hannah and Logan's actual scene of realizing he's not actually into her but adapted it a little to fit this story. This is the first time in a while that I write this much so fast so hopefully its good I did not proofread or edit and the ending kinda sucks but oh well.
Off campus masterlist
You weren't dating, not really, John Logan didn't do relationships, but you were together in all the ways a relationship conveys without the formality of a title. You cheered for him on game day, he would call you every time he had a bad day, you would always find each other at parties and at some point along the way you'd found yourself a spot at the hockey house.
The change started slowly, so slow it was almost unnoticable at first. Your first significant meet with Hannah outside of Malone's was at the block party, you'd been having drinks with the guys and a few girls who had joined in hopes of scoring a hookup when Logan noticed how detached Garret had been from the party. That was the first time you noticed the longing glances, but they still didn't register fully because he still spent the rest of the party on your side and you still ended up in his bed that night.
"Lo I think someone's knocking" Tonight a bunch of people were over at the hockey house, it wasn't a party per se, but the entire hockey team plus a few other friends were around. You were currently sitting on the couch watching the guys play a hockey videogame.
"No one ever knocks" Logan replied not taking his attention off the tv.
"Exactly" You pointed out making it clear that if someone was knocking there must have been a reason.
"Fine" He sighed and handed you his controller, he started walking away and then turned back around "Wait no, she'll score an own goal, pause it!" But you were already moving your little guy around the ice, in circles really instead of actually playing the game.
He didn't seem to pay much attention to Hannah that night, just an extra look when a half naked, straight out of the shower Garrett took her upstairs.
Your next encounter with Hannah was Beau and Dean's party. You had coordinated outfits with one of your friends, Logan was a bird aliongside Tucker's bee and you were all throwing shots when she walked in. Hannah looked amazing in her head turning bunny costume that made Garretts magician make sense now.
In all honesty, you wouldn't have noticed anything weird with Logan if it hadn't been for the way his hold on your waist had instantly dropped when he noticed her. You played it off as nothing when Tucker appeared next to you and dragged him away for their little tradition, but your brain filed it away anyways.
"Mmm we're late" You mumbled into Logan's lips, you were parked on a lonely dark street a few streets away from Malone's because he, verbatim, had said 'you look too good I'm not making it the whole night without a taste'
"Mmhmm" He mumbled against your lips grinding his hips up to you "Don't care"
"Oh come on" You separate a little, he follows as if you were connected by a string, chasing your lips "Karaoke night is my favorite"
"You won't even sing" He complained pushing his forehead against yours.
"Maybe tonight I will" You tell him.
"You're telling me if I drive us to Malone's right now you'll actually sing tonight?" You nod, it's not true, you're most definitely not singing tonight, but you know if you're any late you're gonna fall victim to Dean, Tucker and Beau's incessant teasing the whole night "You're on baby"
When you get to Malone's you get the great surprise of Tucker on stage singing Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy "Holy shit" You gasp hitting Logan's arm.
He chuckles, Jules walks up to you with the song request clipboard "I'll put you and Garrett up for Summer Nights" They say already scribiling down the words.
"I know that's a joke but I would kill Sandy" Logan replies "Anyways, put this one down for Shake It Off"
"Noted" Jules writes down your name and song.
"Do not" You say but Jules smirks and walks away "Jules!"
They don't even turn around, just puts their hand up and waves approaching another group of people, Logan laughs "Come on, let's get a drink" He guides you to the bar, Tucker's voice flowing through the place with the crowd joining in every chorus.
Garrett and Hannah are at the bar, Hannah seems to be enjoying herself as she says hi to you all giggily sipping on what seems like a piña colada "I'll take one of those please" You call out to the bartended who nods getting to prepare the drink.
"Logan!" Hannah exclaims after pulling you into a drunken hug "You fixed my car" She points at the man, Logan nods with a strained 'yeah'. The girl turns to Garrett "He fixed my car"
Garrett looks confused "You have a car?"
The brunette gives him a weirded out look "No"
You stiffle a laugh at her response and squeeze her a little when you notice her somber expression "Had a car" Logan clarifies "Great car"
"I'm buying you a very special thank you drink" Hannah announces then "And you, for being a new friend" She turns to you, then there's confusion in her eyes "We can be friends right?"
"Yes Hannah, we can be friends" You chuckle, she beams.
"Great!" Then she leans over the bar and whispers something into the bartender's ear "Okay you're gonna love it!"
"Hannah has discovered the piña colada tonight" That explains the girl's drunken state, she's probably had too many but thankfully he is with Garrett who is probably the most responsible guy in this bar tonight.
"I've only had one, or four" Hannah laughs, she seems to be having fun.
"Is that what I'm getting too?" Logan asks, you don't miss the way he says 'I'm' but you ignore it, for now.
"Mmm nope" She turns back to you and Logan just as the bartender sets your piña colada and two very bright blue drinks "Okay, for my mechanic, and my new friend, I call this the bluebaru"
She hands you each a glass, you look behind her at Garrett as if asking for help but he just looks amused "Oh! It looks like wiper fluid" Logan says as he inspects the drink.
You take a sip, your face scrunching up at the taste of it at the same time as Garrett says "That might actually be wiper fluid"
"It's mostly blue curacao" Hannah explains "With the secret ingredient" She leans in closer to you and Logan "More blue curacao"
"Oh! I'm so excited" You laugh at Logan's clear suffering at the simple thought of drinking this, you already know you're handing this to either Dean or Beau the moment you see them, those two will drink pretty much anything.
You've just found Dean and Beau, the latter being occupied with his tongue down a redhead, when Hannah's name is announced. "Here have this" You shove the drink into Beau's hand and slip into the seat next to him.
"What's this?" He asks but is already taking a big gulp of it "Fuck!"
You smirk "Hannah Wells' creation, the bluebaru"
"You've got some competition" Beau nods at Logan who is staring intently at Hannah as she performs, that's the first time you really notice it.
"Oh hell no" Dean speaks making you realize the redhead's gone.
"She's with Garrett" You point out.
"Right" Beau nods but the damage is done, for the rest of the performance you can't stop noticing the way Logan looks at her like she's the most interesting thing in the planet and how his look changes to a more somber one when Hannah starts serenating Garrett more openly.
"Kinda sweet isn't it" Jules approaches their brother when they notice the looks he's been giving the girl performing "Garrett being serious about someone"
"You think he's serious?" Logan asks.
"Everyone on fifth line seems to think so" Jules replies "They get more likes than anything else I post" When their brother doesn't say anything they sigh knowing the conversation isn't going anyways "Not that you should care or anything"
"What are you talking about?" He asks, Jules doesn't reply, instead they nod to the booth where you and Beau are watching Hannah sing and Logan can't help but to feel a pinch of guilt in his gut.
You don't sing that night, and you're surprised when, after a few hours of him hanging out with everyone but you, Logan comes over and asks if you're ready to go. Your roomate is out and Logan takes full advantage of that giving you multiple orgasms, you don't think about why he's being so good to you, he'd already shown how interested he was earlier, but he can't help but think he has to make it up to you all night long.
The last thing Logan wanted tonight was to end up talking about Hannah with Garrett but here he was because he couldn't help himself but to ask, and he hated himself for the relief he'd felt when Garrett basically confirmed they weren't together "Hannah was just a distraction"
"Yeah, I mean, sometimes you don't get everything what you want" Logan said "But⊠you're Garrett Graham, alright? Things are gonna work out for ya okay? They always do"
Garrett chuckled "Yeah well for you too man, I mean, you've got the girl, and you make it look so easy" Logan felt a pang of pain at the mention of you and his friend's perspective of your relationship, things there weren't easy, hell he'd been ignoring you for a few days now, giving you dumb excuses as to why he couldn't see you and it all was because he couldn't get his friend's 'girl' out of his head "And it's me and you in the bruins, that's the plan, right?"
Another lie he was keeping, the one where he was pursuing hockey alongside Garrett when he graduated "Yeah, that's the dream"
The next few weeks are like torture for Logan, you eventually wear him down enough for him to start hanging out with you again but he's distant every single time. In the meantime, he's trying his hardest to stop thinking about Hannah while the girl spends every free moment she has in their house because apparently, her and Garrett are officially together now. Every few nights he has to actually leave the house and stay over at your dorm because he can't stand the sound of his best friend hooking up with Hannah and his headphones are not enough.
Thanksgiving had been, surprisingly nice, Garrett and Hannah had gone to his father's to celebrate, Dean was away in New York and that left Tucker, Logan and Jules, the last one inviting you over even before the invitation had been extended to everyone who didn't have a place to go.
"He's gonna burst something" You mumble into Logan's ear, the man being surprisnigly affectionate today.
"Hey, he wanted to do all this" Logan replies squeezing your waist as he hugs you from behind making you giggle.
"Yo lovebirds, get to work" Tucker points at you with the knife he was holding making both of you to put your hands up in surrender before moving to do whatever you were appointed to do.
Logan ends up leaving with Jules a while later, they go to visit their mom at rehab even though that's the last place he wants to be and you stay behind with the rest of your friends. The turkey, much to Tuck's dismay, ends up being a disaster and you all migrate to the rink instead.
You suck at skating but you manage to stay upright enough to glide around as the group plays hockey using parts of the charred turkey as a puck. You've found yourself in the middle of the rink, with the help of Kendall, when Logan and Jules return with their marshmallow attack. You shriek as one hits you square in the chest and glide your way to them as good as you can but you end up slipping and falling straight into the arms of Logan who laughs as he helps you up.
"What are you guys doing?" You ask laughing as your friends in the rink shriek when the siblings keep pelleting them with marshmallows as they skate around.
"It's a Logan thanksgiving motherfuckers!" Jules screams and continues their attack.
"Let's call G and Dean" Tucker suggests, pulling his phone out.
That's where your night changes drastically, when the illusion that you'd been keeping up shatters, because while you'd spent today in Logan's arms whispering jokes to each other and sneaking in kisses here and there the moment Hannah and Garrett's faces appear in Tucker's screen he drops your hand and his expression falters.
Your hand immediately feels cold at the loss of touch and you can't concentrate on the words being exchanged, you smile through it and then when they hang up you unlace your skates and replace them with your shoes and get the hell out of there.
Logan doesn't notice until Jules mentions it.
You stop reaching out to him, your replies come out short when he texts and you always have an excuse as to why you're busy or he can't come to your dorm. In just a week you've shifted your entire friend group from the hockey team to the football team. They greet you in with open arms, you've hang out with them before and Beau adores you, you also find out that the football girlfriends are real good friends who you can girl talk with even though you haven't been close for too long.
"Honestly, good for you" Mia, one of the wide receivers girlfriend's says, you're telling them the story of why you've ended up hanging out with them more lately while trying not to freeze your ass off while you watch the team practice "For having a backbone"
"Men can be so dense" Lily shakes her head "I bet you he's still wondering what he did to piss you off"
"I think he's taken the hint" You shrug "He's stopped spamming me at least"
"Sooo now that he's out of the picture⊠you and Beau?" Mia asks suggestively wiggling her eyebrows.
"Nope" You deny immediately "Been there, done that, we're friends and that's where we're staying"
"Wait you've hooked up before?" Lily's eyes are so impossibly wide "Okay share!"
You chuckle "We were freshmen, it happened a few times and then we figured out we enjoyed hanging out with each other but neither of us wanted a relationship so it kinda fizzled out" You shrug "But I also became friends with the hockey boys and Dean and Beau come as a package so we just stayed friends"
"I've always wondered" Mia trails, her eyes following Beau as he runs drills "When people say they come as a package, do you guys think they like⊠have threesomes and shit?"
You choke on nothing, heat rising up your neck "Oh. my. God" Lily jumps pointing at you "You dirty slut" But there's no real judgement in her voice, just curiosity.
"Would you look at that? I think I better go work on my psych paper" You stand up ignoring the girls asking you to come back behind you.
Malone's is packed by the time you make it in, Mia and Lily insisting they needed you there so here you were. You knew the hockey guys would be here, it was after all their fundraiser, Logan is at the entrance when you arrive "Hey you came" He looks surprised about your presence.
"Yep" You nod "Here I am"
The air is only awkward for a few seconds before your savior, Beau Maxwell, steals you away with a quick comment at Logan and soon enough he has you at the bar with a drink in hand.
"Hey!" Hannah greets you, you haven't seen her since before thanksgiving either and although she is, unknowingly, the reason why you and Logan fell out, there's not a single cell in your bone that resents her "Great party right?"
"It always is" You nod with a smile "Although I kinda like this venue better than the usual one"
Hannah curtsies "Thank you, all my idea. Have you met Allie?"
You nod and wave at Allie who's behind the bar "Yeah, hi"
"Hey" She smiles back but then her eyes track someone behind you. You turn to see who it is and your mouth falls agape when you find Dean walking by, a smirk on his face as he squeezes your waist and continues in. You look back at Allie who looks exactly like someone who's been caught doing something they shouldn't be doing "I-"
You chuckle and shake your head letting her know she doesn't need to give you any explanation, thankfully for her Hannah had been too distracted with the band on stage to notice.
"Give it up for after hours everybody" Dean says once he's up on stage "And a big round of applause to my buddy John Logan for putting on this killer event" You clap alongside everyone, for all his faults John Logan really cares about the Little Canes and has always pulled through for them "Look at him, doesn't get any more good looking than that. And he's single ladies" The crowd of girls around the room cheer, you chug your drink.
Allie gives you a look sliding another drink in front of you before going back to paying her full undivided attention to Dean "I thought you and Logan wereâŠ" Hannah says confused.
"Nope" You reply taking your drink and walking away to find either Mia and Lily or Beau.
"Ugh look at him" You grumble staring at Logan's smile as he talks to Hannah, you're now a few drinks in and your filter is running thin "Like her boyfriend is not his best friend who also happens to be 5 steps away lik get a grip dude"
Mia and Lily chuckle, you've found yourself in the middle of them while each of them has their boyfriend with them, luckily for you, because as upset as you are you don't want Logan's crush on Hannah being public knowlege, the guys are too busy engrossed on a conversation about how awful their season is going.
"I think" Lily says "You need a little distraction"
"Mhm" Mia agrees scoping the crowd out "How about⊠him?" She points at a brunette guy.
"Too complicated, he's on the hockey team" You tell them.
"That would just make things more interesting" You shake your head "Fine, no athletes then" She thinks about it for a few more seconds "How do you feel about artists"
You look the way she is, her gaze locked onto Justin Kohl "That⊠I might consider" The girls giggle next to you.
You do end up talking to Justin once his set is done and find yourself entertained enough to consider leaving with him. Key word: consider because when you are getting your coat while he waits by the door to join him Logan stops you.
"Hey can we talk?" He grabs your arm, soft enough to not hurt you but strong enough so you can't just slip away.
"Uh I gotta go" You say "Someone's waiting for me"
"What- I mean, what happened?" You give him a raised brow "We don't even talk anymore and I just need you to help me understand what happened"
"Logan come on, you're not that dumb" The dumb comment doesn't affect him but you calling him Logan makes him recoil. You never call him Logan, it's always Lo or John.
"Please" He says "I- I thought we were good" You scoff "What?"
"You're in love with your best friend's girlfriend Logan" You deadpan, if you had had one less drink tonight you probably wouldn't have said anything, but here you are.
"What? No I'm not" He argues.
"Yes you are!" You tell him "And honestly? That's a problem for you and them because you and I weren't even together"
"Don't say that" He shakes his head.
"Don't say what? It's the truth. We had fun while it lasted but now you clearly have your sights set on someone else and I think that's something you really have to deal with soon because it's not fair for anyone" You look at him for a few seconds, waiting for your words to sink in and then you say goodbye and walk away no longer in the mood to hook up with Justin.
It takes Hannah and Garret to breakup, fighting and then making amends with Garrett and Hannah and Garrett getting back together for Logan to start to accept his feelings, and once again, he hates himself for it. You were right the night of the fundraiser, this crush he had on hannah wasn't fair to anyone.
"Okay no, this is ridiculous and we need to talk" Hannah stops him as he tries leaving the kitchen as soon as she entered it even though he was halfway through making a sandwich. Something he'd been doing for weeks, avoiding her at all costs "Garrett said to ignore it, that it would eventualy go away, but I can't keep doing this"
"Wellsy I don't know what you're talking about" He tries to lie.
"Stop that!" She points at him with that scary authority the guys had come to know and fear "Do you have a thing for me?"
"Well, this has been fun, but I think I'll go upstairs and kill myself now" He says attempting to walk away but her voice stops him.
"Sit down" He does so because although Hannah is comparably smaller to him, she's scary.
"There's no point talking about this Wellsy I think we both know what the answer to your question is" He sighs.
"Just⊠answer it"
"Fine" He huffs "Yes I have a thing for you"
"Why?" She asks after a few moments of silence that felt like hours to him.
"I- What?"
"I'm so not your type and we both know it" She lets out.
"You don't know that" He accuses.
"Oh yeah? Prove it, what is it that makes you have a thing for me?"
"I'm tired of the parties and hookups and hopping from girl to girl, you made me realize that, you with your movie nights full of cuddles and cheering at our games and cooking dinner and the looks you give Garrett-" She snorts then interrupting his rant "Why are you laughing?"
"Because you're not hearing yourself, Logan⊠you don't want me, you want my relationship" Hannah tells him.
"I'm not into polygamy" He defends.
"No thats⊠thats not what I'm saying you idiot" She sits next to him "You say you're tired of hookups and hopping from girl to girl but tell me, how many girls have you slept with this year?" He thinks about it and the answer is easy, one, you're the only one he's slep with in over a year "You want cuddles and movie nights and someone cheering for you at your games and someone to cook you dinner and give you loving looks well I'm sorry to break it up to you pal but you had all that already" The 'pal' should've hurt but it just gets lost in the middle of the rest of the words as Logan realizes the truth in Hannah's words "Logan⊠you had the girl and you let her go and for the longest time I kept wondering why because it made no sense and here it is, the reason actually makes no sense"
"Shit" He cursed dropping his head onto the counter.
"Yeah, shit" The girl patted his back.
"Wellsy did you get lost on your way to the popcorn? Because- oh what happened?"Garrett entered the room.
"Logan here just realized he's been a bit of an idiot" Hannah explains and although he can't see them, Logan knows the couple is communicating with stares.
"Oh" Garrett lets out "Is this aboutâŠ"
"Yeah"
"I've lost her haven't I?" Logan mumbles looking up to his friends.
"Uhhh" Garrett looks at Hannah for help.
"Noooo" But her tone doesn't sound sure "I mean⊠surely there's something we can come up with to help you get her back"
Logan groans and drops his head once more.
"Woah, what's with all the somber in here?" Dean walks in with Tucker trailing behind.
"Girl trouble" Garret lets out.
"Oh shit, finally got your head out of your ass huh?" The blonde slaps Logan on the back making him jump up.
"Dude" Tucker scolds him "Okay so⊠what are we doing? How are you fixing this?"
"I don't know" Logan admits.
"Right" Dean nods and pulls out a notepad and pen from one of the drawers "Operation GLGB starts now"
"GLGB?" Tucker questions.
"Get Logan's Girl back" Dean says in a 'duh' tone.
"You could've just said that" Garret argues.
"Well yeah but Logan here is always making up these terms so I thought it was fitting" The blonde counters.
"Okay whatever you wanna call it just⊠anyone has any ideas?" Hannah stops the argument before it gets too far.
It takes the group two whole weeks to come up with a plan and execute it.
"Beau I swear to God" You complained, Beau had come to your dorm earlier and dragged you out with no reason even when you complained you were working on an essay "If I don't get to finish my essay because of you I will cut your season short"
"You'd be doing me a favor honestly" He grumbles "Team's still doing so shit"
"Maybe because you spend your free time dragging girls out of their dorms instead of practicing" You point out sarcastically.
"Usually I don't have to drag them, they come on their own"
"Yeah cause you don't know how to get them there" You tease.
"Oh you know damn well I can" He smiles back.
"Ew no" You make a face, you'd rather leave those days in freshman year.
"Anyways, wait here" You're standing under a big tree in the middle of campus where the block party is usually held.
"Why?" You question.
"Just⊠stay" He pleads.
"Woof" You retort he chuckles and jogs away.
You sigh looking around, there's nothing Beau could be remotely interested in here, just people walking to and from classes and or dorms which your friend tends to stay away from as much as possible.
"Hey" You hear that familiar voice behind you, you don't turn, instead you're planning an escape that he doesn't let you complete as he stands in front of you.
"Hi"
"I'm sorry" He lets out "About everything, and I know you don't want to listen to me but please just hear me out"
"I can't" You try to say "I have an essay I need to finish, I'm just waiting for-"
"Beau" He interrupts you "Yeah, I know, I needed someone to lure you out of your dorm" You scoff running your hands through your hair "Please don't go just⊠just let me get this out and if you decide you want nothing more to do with me I promise I'll never bother you again"
"Two minutes" He nods.
"This is where I saw you for the first time, block party, freshman year, you were standing right here on your own" He motions to the spot you're standing in now "There were fairy lights on the tree and they glowed all around you like a halo. Garrett caught me staring, he told me to make a move, and I did, and honestly? I thought the most I was getting out of it would be a hookup but then we started talking and I knew that I needed you to be in my life as more than that"
"We didn't hook up in freshman year" You tell him "We barely spoke after that"
"True" He nods "Because you had that thing going on with Beau, and Beau was Dean's best friend and I didn't want to cause any drama within the team. But then one night we were out and he mentioned you two were just friends and I thought okay this is it, this is my chance" The two minutes are close to being over but you don't mention it "Sophomore year I realized no other girl made me feel the way you did, I stopped hooking up with random girls, I had no one night stands and I found myself looking for you in every room I walked into. And I've been the biggest idiot, I got in my head, I have a million things going on right now and the only good ones are you and hockey, in that order" He points at you "You and then hockey, but I let myself get wrapped up on the mentality of the other guys, the one where I couldn't possibly have a girlfriend because that meant leaving hockey behind"
In the entire time you've known John Logan you've never known him to be someone who can stand still for too long, a hockey player trait probably because all the guys are the same, but through this entire exchange he's stood right in front of you staring you in the eye as if he will spook you if he moves too much, the distance between you is a couple steps and it's probably the furthest he's stood since the night you met right here.
"But then, Garrett stated dating Hannah, Garrett Graham, the guy whose determination when it comes to hockey is so strong he's shaped his entire world around the sport, got a girlfriend, and he was doing great, he was thriving, he was happy. And seeing him like that made me jealous because I wanted that, I wanted to have the happy relationship and I confused that with wanting Hannah" He takes one step then, so small it makes nothing to decrease the distance "But I didn't, I didn't want Hannah, and I realized it too late. I realized that I had all that, I had it all with you I was just too much of a coward to call it what it was"
"Lo-" He cuts you off.
"Please" You've never seen him this broken "Please don't call me by my last name, I can't stand you calling me Logan"
You nod "John I don't know if I can just⊠move on from all this like it was nothing. We were together for over a year and never made it official, and it was okay back then because it was what we both wanted, but I'm not sure that's what I want anymore"
"But-" You put your hand out stopping him.
"I hear what you're saying, but what's to say we get back together and you realize it really is not what you wanted?"
"It is" He's basically prÂĄleading my now, sure he said if you wanted to he would dissapear from your life, but he's sure as hell not going to do it without putting up a fight first "I know it is because we already had it and I loved it" He stops then and something flashes in his face, recognition "I love you"
Your eyes widen "Lo"
"I do, I love you" He chuckles shaking his head and gone is the man who stood still for so long because he's now cut down the distance and standing so close he's blocking your view of anyone else "I love going to parties and having you by my side the entire time, I love going to sleep with you in my arms and waking up to you basically on top of me, I love late nights snacking on Tuck's leftovers and I love seeing you in the stands at my games, I love you"
You're smiling now because you can tell he's being serious.
"I never had a crush on Hannah, baby you're the only one I've wanted so please, please cut me out of my misery and say you'll be mine again" His brown eyes bore into yours and you can't help but to pull him down by the neck and kiss him.
"Only if we do this right" You say once you separate, not that he let you go far, his hands are on your waist pulling you flushed against him and his forehead is on yours "No more situationship or casual or whatever it was"
He nods "It was never casual" And he pulls you in for another kiss.
You break out of the kiss when you hear your friends cheering behind you.
"Hell yeah I did that motherfuckers!" Beau exclaims clapping loudly.
"The only thing you did was take me away from my essay" You tell him "And the threat still stands" He puts his hands up in surrender chuckling.

When you started doing social media you didnât imagine youâd get this far. You were a teenager with too much free time, a massive fangirl making filming yourself reacting to new music, movie trailers, new show episodes, gossip and pop culture in general.Â
You are not sure when the sponsors began or why your channel stood out to brands, but soon enough you started getting invited to events. At some point in the past few years your content shifted when you started your channelâs most popular series âturisTandoâ a show where you showed different celebrities and artists not only popular spots in your city but also the little hidden ones you enjoyed, it was also a good way to highlight local businesses who deserved the love.
At first, âturisTandoâ was a project you did with a couple friends who became your team, a camera man, an assistant and someone to act as security. But as the show grew you recruited more people into the team and the videos became better quality while still keeping the same cozy familiar aura that fans liked so much.Â
When you saw the offer from Tecate Pâal Norte came through your email about the chance to be the interviewer for Djoâs Q&A at the event, you agreed and then decided to take it one step forward and try to get Joe on your show as well.Â
It had felt like a shot in the dark really, he had way too many shows in LATAM already so you didnât think youâd get approved, but you still asked because frankly Joe was your dream guest for the show. You remember crushing on him hard from the moment his face appeared on your screen back when the first season of Stranger Things came out and although you hadnât gotten into his music until recently heâd crawled up the charts on your Spotify becoming your top artist for two years in a row now.Â
Getting confirmation from his team had felt like a cruel prank and youâd verified that the account was real about 20 times in the past week.Â
Today you were supposed to meet with Joe and his team at 10am, youâd woken up at 7 and had changed your outfit 3 times before settling on what you were wearing now on a car with your three friends youâd started this project with who still worked with you on it.Â
âI swearâ Sara, the assistant of the group, looked at the backseat where you sat next to one of your camera men, Dan, to where you were sitting with a very bouncy leg âI thought the most nervous youâd be was last year when we did the Pedro episodeâÂ
She was right, youâd been a nervous wreck last year when youâd scored big with booking Pedro Pascal while he was doing press for Fantastic Four, but even that felt like light work compared to today.
âYou know sheâs like in love with Joe thoughâ Kevin, the security detail turned here for vibes, chuckled from the driverâs seat.
âIâm not in love with himâ You argue âPlease donât embarrass me and make him think Iâm weirdâÂ
âI donât think we need to do anything, you do all the work for usâ Dan joked.
âHa-haâ You roll your eyes âAre we late?â The clock on the dashboard says 9:36, youâre supposed to meet Joe at 10 and you want to have enough time to set everything up at your first location, a restaurant where youâre having lunch, before he arrives.
âNahâ Sara shakes her head âNatalia says they have everything ready, just need to mic you up and for you to approve the shot theyâve set upâÂ
Thank god for your team because when you arrive at the little restaurant everything is perfectly set up.Â
Your team has set up in the little backyard the restaurant has closed off for you, itâs nice, cozy with carefully cared for plants that looked overgrown just enough and traditional tiles making patterns on the walls. The vibe of it was perfect for a nice lunch with friends and the food was delicious too.
Ten minutes before your set time, when thankfully everything was set and ready, Joe and his team arrived at the restaurant, of course they were early.Â
Sara gave you one more look, one that said âgame timeâ and left your side to greet the oncoming group. You took a deep breath, a sip of your water, and checked that your mic was secured once more before turning on your professionalism and following Sara.
âAh, and here she isâ Your friend introduced you, the group consisted no only of Joe and his agent but also his bandmates/friends, all whom you recognized from following his career âShe will be interviewing you todayâÂ
âNice to meet youâ Joe smiles offering you his hand for a handshake.
âYou tooâ You smile back taking his hand in yours, youâve never thought about the size of your hands but you canât help but notice how small it looks in his âAnd think of it more like weâre sharing lunch and chatting rather than an interviewâÂ
He hums but nods in agreement, the smile never leaving his face âI hope you donât mind I brought some friendsâ He motions to his entourage.
âNot at all, the more the betterâ You shake your head âNow, why donât we get you all some menus while you get micâd up so the restaurant can start prepping ordersâÂ
âThat sounds amazingâ One of his friends, Javi, you recognize, says âWeâre starving and it smells amazing in thereâ He points to the inside of the restaurant where theyâre coming from making you chuckle.
âI can assure you it tastes as good as it smellsâ One of the waiters who has been helping your team brings menus for everyone and starts explaining the dishes while you turn to Joe as he gets set up.
âJoe thank you so much for joining me today, itâs an honor to have you on the channelâ You say after doing an introduction for the cameras, youâre now sitting at the table with plates of food scattered around ready for you to start eating.
âOf course, honorâs all mineâ He smiles âIâd never turn down free foodâÂ
âWellâ You gesture towards the plates âGo aheadâÂ
âWhat do you recommend starting with?â He asks.
You think about it for a second, eyeing the spread in front of you âHmm, I mean, everythingâs great, but Iâd say try the chilaquiles first before they get soggyâ You move two plates closer to him âThereâs green and redâÂ
âIs there a right choice?â He questions tilting his head.
âUh⊠Itâs a very split decisionâ You chuckle âPersonally, I like the green ones better because I donât really like tomatoes but everyone has a favoriteâÂ
The first portion of your videos, always revolve around making your guests comfortable and establishing a connection, so while you eat you talk about superficial things like his travels around Latin America so far, all the festivals, and the food. You even get behind the camera comments from his friends so often that they get their own mic to share at their table.
Youâre towards the end of the lunch with the food youâd ordered, which was a lot because both you and the restaurant wanted your guests to experience it all, almost finished, surprisingly Joe ate a lot and whatever you two didnât finished was passed along to the other table for everyone else to try.
âThis was amazingâ He leans back on his chair patting his stomach after having one last bite of dessert.
âIâm glad you enjoyed itâ You smile at him.
âThis is a really cute spot tooâ He looks around âI like the overgrown garden vibe going onâÂ
âIt is one of my favorite spotsâÂ
âYou take all your dates here?â He smirks and you choke on your sip of lemonade âCarefulâ He moves quickly rubbing your back in soothing motions as you cough.
His smug smirk never disappears and youâre unsure as to how to respond but your mouth moves faster than your brain and somehow you spit out âYouâre the firstâ Making him chuckle, his hand still on your back.
âWell Iâm honoredâÂ
âOkay, I think weâre good here and we can go to the next spotâ You tell him moving to stand up, he does so too and you coordinate so the van they rented will follow your car, half of your team had already left for the next location while the other half is staying behind and packing up like the well greased machine your whole productionâs become over the years.
âYouâre the firstâ Dan snickers once youâre in the safety of your car.
âDonâtâ You groan throwing your head back on the headrest âHe blindsided me, I didnât know what to sayâÂ
âOkay stop bullying her we need her to stay strong for the next like two hoursâ Sara laughs from the front seat.
It doesnât take long for you to arrive at the next place, itâs a hidden gem in your opinion. A book and music shop that looks small when you first enter but keeps going the deeper you go.
You set up quickly and soon youâre walking through the shop while talking with Joe âSo, youâve done pretty good separating your music from your acting and that seems to be a boundary you set from the beginning, is there any specific reason why?âÂ
âYeah I donât knowâ He scratches the back of his neck scanning the bookshelves âI think itâs just nice to have them separate and for people to be able to enjoy one without the otherâ You nod in understanding âAnd I think it makes them more meaningful that way tooâÂ
âI get that, more authentic maybe? Like you know theyâre not just pretending to like one because they do the other?â You ask, he nods.
âExactly thatâ He agrees.
âBut even though thereâs that separation, do you sometimes find yourself drawing inspiration from the other?âÂ
âItâs kind of impossible not toâ He shrugs âI do it without realizing it sometimes, itâs just lifeâÂ
You nod âThis is one of my favorite parts of the storeâ You gesture to the cds âPart of why I started my channel is because I was a huge fangirl and I spent lots of time at music stores browsing through cdsâÂ
âItâs hard to find cdâs nowadaysâ He says âThis is coolâÂ
âDo you have an artist you were a big fan of when you were younger?â You ask, and for the next 20 minutes you descend into a conversation about music while browsing through the cds in front of you.Â
âI canât believe you were into One Directionâ You laugh, youâre each holding a few cds in your hands now.
âI grew up around sistersâ He shrugs âGot pretty into Bieber for a while tooâÂ
âNo wayâ Heâs smiling as you laugh, not a drop of shame about being a fan of artists that most men wouldnât admit to liking and that made him ten times more attractive âYou had the Bieber Fever!âÂ
âYou didnât?â Heâs teasing you now.
âAbsolutely I didâ You say âBieber Fever and the One Direction Infectionâ
âWhoâs your favorite artist right now?â He asks.
âIâm supposed to be the one asking the questionsâ You give him a pointed look, he raises a brow waiting for your answer âIâm a pop girlyâ
âSo Iâm not up there then?â He asks with tilt of his head.
âWill it inflate your ego too much if I admit youâve been in my top artists for a few years?â His smile grows.
Youâre walking out of the store now, the camera crew following as youâre walking a few blocks to get snacks before ending the video at a park nearby, so you keep talking, his friends joining the portion of the video as well.
They ask about random signs on the street and you explain the references in a graffiti on a wall. At some point in your short walk the conversation switches to something so natural that you almost forget youâre being filmed.
When you get to the snack spot and order you explain the food options to them and on the walk to the park you ask some more questions about Joeâs work and then finally at the park you close the video off.
You think Joe and his crew will leave as soon as his mic is off, but surprisingly they stay eating their snacks as your team packs up. Youâre off to the side with a camera on your hands scrolling through the pictures your photographer took when he approaches.
âElote?â His accent is adorable as he offers his cup to you.
Youâre surprised by his approach but you do your best to conceal it âIâm okay thank youâ You smile âItâll just make me more thirstyâÂ
âHereâ He hands you the water bottle he was holding in his other hand and then sits next to you when you take it âGot any good ones?â He gestures to the camera.
âWanna look through them?â You offer.
âThatâs a good oneâ He points at the screen, itâs a picture of you looking through the shelves at the book/music store, your face captured in concentration as you read through titles.
âI look kinda weirdâ You donât know why youâre commenting on it, you should probably just say thank you and move on, but the heat of his shoulder bumping against you, the closeness, brings you some form of comfort that makes you open up âToo seriousâÂ
âI think you look greatâÂ
Someone from his team calls for him, itâs time for him to go, but he doesnât immediately leave âThank you again, for todayâ You tell him âGood luck on your showâÂ
He stands up then âAre you coming? To the show?âÂ
âI amâ You nod.
âIâll see you thenâ He nods too.
And thatâs it, you expect the next time you see him, on the Q&A in a few days, that heâll have forgotten about you, maybe not completely, but for the closeness that you managed to establish to at least have faded.
Thatâs why, when you arrive at the festival grounds later than youâd expected, and youâre getting rushed through the backstage by an event coordinator whoâs quickly explaining how the Q&A is going to go to you, youâre surprised to catch a glimpse of Joe and Jake who recognize you instantly and wave excitedly as if youâve known each other for years. Still, you wave back as you speed through the grounds.
When the time comes for the Q&A you introduce him to the small crowd sitting in front of you and he continues to stun lock you as he walks straight to you and greets you with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, something very not American, something heâs probably picked up over his time in LATAM.
âItâs great to see you againâ He says to you.
âYou tooâ You tell him and then motion for him to sit down on the chair next to yours and grab his microphone.
After the Q&A you both walk off and he gives you his hand even though youâre only going down one step.Â
âYou didnât tell me youâd be interviewing me againâ He says when youâre walking backstage again.
You shrug âYeah, itâs kinda how I got the chance to interview you for my channel, through a vouch for doing thisâÂ
âNoâ He shakes his head immediately after you finish your sentence âI said yes to the interview because it sounded like a good time and a great way to see more of the cityâ Â
âOhâ Youâre surprised âI didnât know you chose like that, I kinda just thought your team pickedâÂ
âThey go through the requests and then send me some options and I choose from thereâ He explains âAnd I think I chose right cause I had lots of fun with youâÂ
âIâm glad you didâ You say âI was really nervous about it so hearing you enjoyed it makes me real happyâÂ
âYou had nothing to be nervous around. Honestly, it was one of the most fun days Iâve had working in a whileâ You are getting closer to the trailers where you can see his crew standing around now âDidnât even feel like working honestly, I kinda forgot we were being filmed a couple timesâÂ
âYou have no idea how much that means to me, my main goal with the interviews is that they feel more like a conversation than something so formalâ Youâre at the point where you have to say goodbye, heâll keep going straight to his friends and youâll probably go get a snack before going out to the festival to meet up with your friends but you donât want to leave his side just yet.
âWell I think youâre doing great with thatâ It seems he doesnât want to go either because he stops walking.
Thereâs a brief silence between you, people pass by, crews making sure everythingâs ready, event coordinators with stressed faces, the noise of festival goers echoes all around and you two just stare at each other in what should be something awkward but instead feels familiar.
âI should uh⊠head out thereâ You point back with your thumb âLet you get readyâÂ
âI have a few hoursâ He says âDo you wanna maybe⊠go get something to eat?â He points the other way to a few food stands that the event has set up for the. artists.
âI⊠yeah, sure, Iâd love toâÂ
He guided you to one of the stands that had sliders turning around to ask if that was good, you nodded âDo you have one without tomatoes?â He asks the server when he realizes all the sliders in the trays have tomatoes on them, youâre surprised he remembers you donât like them.
âI can make you one sirâ The server nods.
âItâs okay, I can just pick them offâ You say and grab one thanking the worker, Joe gets his own and you move to the seats on the tent next to the stand.
âIâll take thatâ He nods at the tomato slice youâve taken from your food, you hand it to him and he pops it into his mouth.
âDo you ever get nervous before big shows like this?â You ask looking off to where you can kinda see the actual festival grounds.
âEvery timeâ He replies âFake it till you make it right?âÂ
âI think youâve made itâ You smile, he smiles back.
âAre you gonna stay for our set?â You noticed during your interview the other day that he always includes the band when he talks about his music even though Djo is technically just him.Â
âMhmâ You nod âIâll probably get a horrible spot cause thereâs already a big crowd out there but I wouldnât miss it for the worldâÂ
âOrâŠâ He raises a brow at you âI think I have a better spotâÂ
And a better spot it was as she stood side stage with Sara whoâd joined her, the rest of her friends out in the crowd.Â
âOh godâ Sara said with a big grin âYouâre so goneâÂ
âHuh?â You ask, your brain not processing her words as you watch Joe on stage.
âNothing, you justâŠâ She waves you off âNever mindâÂ
You donât even realize how much youâre proving her point with your eyes twinkling as you track him moving around the stage. Youâre enthralled, canât look away, his presence up there is unmatched, intoxicating.Â
The set goes by too quickly and by the time you realize heâs singing the last few lines of End of Beginning and saying goodbye to the crowd.
âThat was amazingâ You breathe out to no one, or maybe Sara, while Joe and the band make their exit.
You turn around with Sara, ready to leave and rejoin your friends to catch a different set now that Djoâs is over but you only get a few steps in before he catches up with you.
âThat bad?â He asks, head tilted and teasing smile, his hair is sticking to his forehead from the sweat and his breathing is a bit heavy.
âOh god no! It was amazingâ You say âWe were just⊠gonna go catch up with our friendsâÂ
âOhâ Thereâs a frown that flashes through his face, so quick you almost miss it âWell, thanks for comingâÂ
âThanks for the great seatsâ You give him a smile âThe show was greatâÂ
âHey! Good to see you againâ Wes joins you slinging his arms around Joeâs neck âYou hanging out with us?âÂ
âUhhâ You turn to Sara who nods subtly.
âYeah, why donât you stay? Iâve gotta find the group, Danâs been spamming meâ Your friend says âYou should get a break, youâve been running around all dayâÂ
âOnly if you wantâ Joe says âI mean, if you have more sets you want to go see with your friends orâŠâÂ
âI can stay for a bitâ You say.
âGreat!â Wes exclaims letting go of Joe and moving closer to you, putting an arm around your shoulder and dragging you towards the band with him âLetâs go see what weâre getting intoâÂ
âWES!â Joe yells at him but his friend pays him no mind âDude you canât just kidnap herâ
âJust text me later!â Sara says before saying her goodbye to Joe whoâs still standing there and leaving.
âHey guys weâve got a guest joining usâ Wes introduces you to the group again, you smile and wave.
âSoâŠâ Joe catches up âPlans?âÂ
âGoing back to the hotel and passing outâ Trent says stretching, a few others agree.
âOh come onâ Wes groans in complaint âItâs our last night here, letâs go do somethingâÂ
âIâm down to go get some actual dinner, maybe a few drinksâ Jake shrugs.
âYeah me tooâ Adam agrees.
Joe turns to you âGot any good recommendations?âÂ
âHmmâ You think about it, scrolling through good places opened at this time that would be private enough in your mind âYeah probably, let me text someone real quickâ You remember one of your friendsâ brothers opened a bar not too long ago, the food is nice and so is the vibe as they have live music multiple times a week.
âYou guys in the mood for some tacos?â You ask once you get confirmation from your friend that the bar is indeed open and serving food but also not filled to the brim so thereâs enough privacy for you to bring the guys.
âFuck yeahâ Wes cheers.
âCan we stop by the hotel for a quick shower though?â Javi asks.
âYeah, letâs goâ Joe agrees âYou wanna find your friends and say goodbye first?â He asks you.
You shake your head âIâll text themâÂ
âAlright, come onâ He smiles and wraps an arm around your shoulders guiding you along.
On the ride to the hotel you realize how insane it is that youâre there. Last week you were only the girl who would interview Djo, tonight you were having dinner Joe and his friends. Adding to the fact that youâve only met them twice how you have had a crush on him for a while now and how much of a fan you are of his music, this night feels unreal.
âThereâs some fans waiting outsideâ Adam notes.
âLike fiveâ Caity says âAre you gonna stop for pictures?âÂ
âYeah, I canâ Joe nods and then he remembers you âYou go in with Wes yeah?âÂ
âAre you sure? I can just wait hereâ You tell him. Having been around the scene for a while now, especially on the internet side of it, you know how people can get when someone new is seen with a celebrity.
âNah, you donât have to, come on just stick with himâ You nod hesitantly but Wesâ grin reassures you enough.
âI gotchuâ You hear the gasps of fans when Joe walks closer to them, he has a security detail with him while the rest of the crew and you walk inside.
âIâll just wait down hereâ You settle into one of the couches and text Sara as you wait talking about how insane the whole situation is. Youâre laughing at something she sent when you feel Joe sink down on the armrest next to you.
âWhatcha doing?â Heâs smiling, but then again, heâs always smiling.
âJust waitingâ You lock your phone âYou gonna go shower too?âÂ
âYepâ He nods standing up âLetâs goâ You raise your eyebrows at him, he wants you to go to his room? âCome on, letâs go to my room, Iâm not leaving you down here all aloneâÂ
You gasp playfully grasping at your chest âTake me to dinner first Mr.KeeryâÂ
âIâm trying!â He grins âBut Iâve gotta get out of these stinky clothes firstâÂ
âWith me in the roomâ You raise your eyebrows again.
âIf you wantâ He shrugs smugly âCome on, really, I donât want you to be here all aloneâÂ
âOkayâ You take the hand heâs got outstretched to you.
His room is messy in a way that would stress you out if you were supposed to fly home the next day, his suitcase is opened by the foot of the bed with clothes scattered around it and some other trinkets in different surfaces.Â
âIâll be right back, two minutes. Make yourself comfortableâ He takes something from his suitcase, clothes, and disappears into the bathroom.
For a second, because you have no idea what to do, the thought of cleaning up a bit flashes through your mind but you dismiss it quickly cause you think itâll be weird if you touch his things so instead you sit on the edge of the bed and wait awkwardly while checking your phone for any updates.
âAlrightâ Joe comes out, hair damp, jeans and a blue tee that sticks to his also damp skin, he looks tired but so relaxed too and he sinks into the bed next to you âWhatâs this spot youâre taking us to?âÂ
âItâs one of my friendâs brotherâs restaurant/bar that opened not to long agoâ You say âThey have some great tacos and live musicâÂ
âSeems fitting we have tacos on our last night hereâ He hums.
The restaurant is the perfect place to have dinner with the tired crew, itâs not too crowded but also not so empty that it feels awkward and the music today is a duo playing soft rock that blends perfectly in the background of your conversations.
âOkay but what there has to have been someone you interviewed and hatedâ Javi says, at some point in the past 10 minutes the guys, and Caity, started asking you about your channel.
âMmm not hatedâ You say âBut I did one with Glenn Powell two years ago and it was kinda weirdâ Wes gasps, Javi leans in closer, Joeâs head tilts and Jake, Caity and Adam perk up waiting for you to say more âThereâs not much to it, he just didnât give me much to work on and he was rude to his teamâÂ
âRude how?â Joe asks.
âWell he wasnât shouting at them or anything like that but he was very passive aggressive towards them and like he clearly didnât want to be thereâ You shrug and take a sip of your beer âIâm sure he was just having a bad dayâÂ
âNow I wanna watch the video and see what he was acting likeâ
âYou wonât find anything strangeâ You tell them âI have really good editors, plus he wasnât really acting necessarily bad on cameraâÂ
âYouâll need really good editors to make this one look goodâ Adam jokes nudging Joe who shakes his head laughing.
âNah, I donât think heâll need too muchâ You reply with a smile.
Some time later everyoneâs migrated to the bar but you and Joe.
âHe had to have gone to at least 10 stores before giving upâ You finish your story, Joeâs got his elbow on the table with his head on his hand as he listens intently, something youâve come to realize is a given with him, you donât have to worry about if heâs paying attention, you know he is.
âAwe that sucksâ He frowns, eyes glossy from the beers youâve been drinking, plus a shot of tequila Jake convinced you all to have, heâs not drunk, more like leaning to tipsy but sober enough, youâre around the same âDid you ever get a replacement?âÂ
âNopeâ You shake your head âIâve given up trying to find one by nowâÂ
He hums âI had this teddy bear when I was little, and I was so attached to it I would cry when my mom took it from me for bath time. One day my sisters decided to do a makeover on it, cut his head offâÂ
You gasp âNo!âÂ
âYepâ He nods âMom sewed it back on as I cried and cried, he ended up looking real creepy and my sisters hated itâÂ
You chuckle âFrankenteddyâÂ
âFrankenteddyâ He agrees nodding.
âHey, you guys ready to head out?â Jake asks, You realize then you really donât want this night to end. You donât want to say goodbye to Joe just yet, not when youâre not sure youâll have him like this again.Â
âUhhâ Joe turns to you, head tilted in question.Â
âYeahâ You breathe out, you know itâs late and they have a flight early-ish tomorrow morning âWe can goâÂ
When youâre walking out from the restaurant Joe stops you and you fall a few steps behind the group on your way to the car âI⊠I donât want the night to end just yetâ Your mouth gapes as you try to say you donât either but he doesnât let you âIâm not ready to say goodbye to you just yet. Come back with us, with meâÂ
âWell⊠you did buy me dinnerâ You reference what you said earlier and the fact that against your insistence he didnât let you pay for the meals.
His face breaks up in a grin as he pulls you in with his arm around your shoulders to guide you to join the rest.
His room is the same it was before you left but the air doesnât feel awkward anymore, now you feel comfortable and like youâre supposed to be here. The group didnât say anything about you joining them, they didnât tease or make you feel bad for it, they just said goodnight.
âHow are you leaving tomorrow and have all this mess? Are you not worried about forgetting something?â You ask sitting on the edge of the bed.
âI hate packingâ He groans dropping on the bed âCome over here, get comfyâÂ
You look at him for a second contemplating before joining him by the pillows, even then you guess he feels thereâs too much distance between you because he reaches out and pulls you closer.
âYou know⊠this whole night has been insaneâ You admit âLike I never expected to be here with you when I got confirmation of the interviewâÂ
âAnd I never expected to meet someone as great as youâ He says back placing his head on top of yours, his hand finding yours âI donât normally do this. I donât open up and trust people this easilyâ He admits âYouâre just so⊠addictive to be aroundâÂ
You look up at him then, bug brown eyes looking back at you âAddictive?âÂ
âSo addictiveâ He repeats leaning down, his lips so close you can feel them fanning against yours âCan IâŠ?âÂ
You nod and then his lips are on you and his hands grasping at your body to pull you on top of him, gasping when you grind down before going in for another kiss. When you try to let go to catch a breath he follows sitting up to pull you back in.
You wake up the next morning alone in the hotel bed, his side of the cold and his things gone, the soreness on your lower body serves to assure you didnât imagine last night and you canât help but to feel disappointment even though you reminded yourself time and time again last night that this would never be anything else.
You stay in your spot for a while before getting up and stretching, surprised when you find your clothes folded neatly with a card on top.
âI almost missed my flight. I wouldâve said goodbye properly but you looked too peaceful. Check your phone and text me when you wake up, thank you for the best trip to mexico everâÂ
You donât text, at least not right away. Not until youâre back at your apartment and are done with your debrief with Sara, and even then it takes the both of you around 20 minutes to come up with a text. Itâs not even that good of a text either, just a simpleÂ
âHey, hope you didnât miss your plane and your trip went well, thanks for the extra sleep and the hangoutâ
You send it before you can keep overthinking it and then realize youâre not sure he has your number so you text back letting him know itâs you.Â
He texts back a few hours later letting you know heâs made it home, a conversation that expands through the entire day and bleeds into the next few days too.
âGot any trips to the US soon?âÂ
He texts one night.
âCoachella weekend 2âÂ
i finished what could be part 1 of a story but im afraid if i post it ill just not finish part 2 so instead im making it an extra long one all together
