Hi! This is for the broken hearts club au. I'm just... Very confused... About everything. What is it? Is there a post explaining what it is? (not the post introducing everyone, I saw that one). Just like, what is it? Why was it formed? Are they all broken hearted or something?
So I don’t really have a full story planned, just something for fun.
So it’s basically a school club, but almost like exclusive. Virgil is the one who submitted it as a joke, but also as a dare from Roman. Virgil doesn’t like backing down from dares. However, he didn’t think that it would be approved and now here’s this club. He put it down as ‘people who have had their heart broken either by family, friends, partner, etc. It is to bring us together and try to help each other’ (that’s all thanks to Roman). So now, here’s a club.
The ones who joined were Logan, Dee, and the twins. Since Virgil was the founder, he didn’t like the idea of so much responsibility and said that they should have a vote who is the president. They all said Logan and Logan just shrugged, accepting it and went back to the book he was reading during their first meeting.
No one is allowed in, and they don’t really want anyone in. They’ve all known each other since freshman year, so they stick together and let no one else in. However, one day Remy came sticking his nose and Remus immediately accepted him. They all sighed and accepted it, but he’s only an honorary member as he doesn’t want to come in term with his own past.
They all have their own past that they don’t want to come to terms to, but they slowly do. They start to see that it wasn’t their fault, that they should’ve not been treated the way they were, that they did deserve better and though hard, one day will be ‘happy’ in their own way.
Patton met Roman their sophomore year, and he’s new to the school. He got along pretty well with him, as they were in the same homeroom class. Patton slightly hinted at his past, along the lines where his parents always argued and he never really knew true family structure and tries his best to make other happy. That made Roman ask the club if he can bring him one day, and when they agree (mostly since he’s persistent and in shock that Roman was actually bringing someone) Patton decides to go.
That’s where the small introduction happened and all. Anyway, now Patton is part of the club, he comes up with the new logo. He gets along well with Roman out of everyone. It takes him time to get used to Remus eccentric thoughts and ideas, Dee’s snake tongue, Logan’s seriousness and closed off nature, and Virgil’s skepticism. Soon, they’re all like their own little family of broken people trying to find a different path in life.
Thomas is a teacher and the one looking over the club, Dr. Picani stays after school more during their meetings (Which is always at random until Thomas makes them choose. Soon it becomes Monday, Wednesday and Friday), and he pops in to check on them and make sure all is well. They worry for the boys, but with patience and someone other than them or family actually caring for their wellbeing, they slowly open up and listen to advice or words of encouragement.
It’s mostly a little exclusive club for just friends, venting about problems in Friday’s, and having fun and getting to know that they’re not alone.
