We came home to this - the roots were having a seance! We have a ghost that lives in our apartment named Eric and they set this up in his room! We think maybe they were talking to him?

Spooky!!! (Well, it would be spookier if we didn’t know how sweet Eric is and that he’s a real softie who just likes art and playing with our cats :P)

We snapped these pics as quickly as we could because Azunis kept floating up and down and Zambo kept phasing in and out, little brain included.

From left to right, Rione, Rarder (who is telling everyone what is happening), Bikkle (above, tiny little root), Randolph, Ice Bat (above, honorary root and reluctant, often scared member of the root family, Azunis (with the flower, she is officiating and running this seance), Zambo (who is even prepared to share a nibble of the little brain he is clutching), proto-demon-honorary-root-in-progress (top, in red - he is being crocheted as another friend for the group and while he is not finished, he apparently is done enough to join in root festivities), and Neemus (wearing a tiny leaf badge he “borrowed” from Randolph).
