This year, im keeping consistent with sharing my monthly reads on here and hopefully peeps enjoy the books I'm sharing too. The month just gone was Japan and Korean reading, with this month in May venturing to Sci-fi and Fantasy with: Sunrise on the reaping and Jinx by Amy Mulloch, both borrow from my local library as it was is always important to keep them going.
Below are my thoughts on Return to The Moraski Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa and Vegetarian by Han Kang
Started the month all hopeful enjoying the return to Morasaki and enjoying how they keep the bookshop going in trying times. Another journey through lives of how both books and relationships keep people going through tough times.
My second read of the month was a Korean book on desires that were spoken and unspoken and the consequences of those desires. A great insight of how families are formed and the journey the family goes on through family members dealing with desires and if they should be acted upon
