Q&A: Oh dear, your muse has done something intense. Write about them being stuck at the Defense Force’s headquarters and being interrogated by the staff there. What was the offense?
Terrific. Absolutely terrific.
What was supposed to be a simple and innocent prank had escalated to people full out freaking the hell out when all Kariya did was dump paint on people.
But apparently he had chose the wrong people to dump the paint on, seeing as he had dumped the paint on the Defense Force. The Defense Force of all people-- splattering them with the sticky and hard to get out substance.
Couldn't they just have given him a warning instead of dragging him all the way to HQ?
Of course not. Kariya wasn't going to go down the easy route with this, was he?
And so, here he was, sitting in one of the rooms where they interrogated people, the interrogation room if he remembered correctly. And across from him were the people who had the paint splashed upon them. Well, at least they changed clothes, but it looks like those clothes won't be usable or wearable anymore.
Damn, this was getting boring and the piercing gazes of the police weren't exactly helping in anyway either.
"So," one of them spoke out, voice low and smooth, causing the teen to look over and study who was talking-- Someone his age, wore a hat, and a blue uniform that somewhat resembles a detective uniform-- "exactly why did you think it was appropriate to pour paint on people?"
"I was bored," was Kariya's simple reply, not even fazed at how this was turning out. Yeah, he knew he should be scared or at least worried he would be put to jail, but this interrogation had been going on for two hours the least, with them asking various questions about his background-- in which he absolutely refused to even speak about let alone make eye contact during that time period.
This was getting boring and he was getting restless, along with being hungry.
A sigh resounded from the Defense Force members before one of them spoke up, "As punishment, you'll be working here at the Force as community service hours."
Well, better than being thrown into jail for a day at least. Besides, it couldn't be that bad in helping out around in this place, right?\
It had been when he was young, when he lost his mother, only at the age of five years.
It had been a nice day, a perfect day for him and his mother to go out shopping. Clear skies, warm weather, everything had seemed perfect to even go out on a small picnic.
But that all changed when he heard screams and gunshots pierce the air, his mother pushing him out of the way amidst the confusion that was happening around him.
Fideo, who turned around after regaining his balance was about to call out to his mother when he saw her fall over, lifeless, blood pooling around her and on the sidewalk. He could see where she had been shot.
Head, heart, chest and stomach.
Wide, terror filled eyes stared at his lifeless mother from the safety of the alleyway, not even registering the other people fleeing to safety and away from the gunshots that seemed to come from men in suits.
He took a few steps back, hiding even further in the shadows of the alleyway as he saw the men march by, holding guns.
Why, why did it have to happen? Why were these men hurting the innocent? This wasn't right.... No...
Knees weak, he collapsed, hot tears streaking down his cheeks as he stared helplessly at the ground, his ears picking up the sounds of gunshots, people screaming and the occasional dull thud of a body falling to the asphalt.
Not only had he lost his mother, but he witnessed it all at the age of five.
He was afraid, afraid to trust, afraid to care, afraid to love.
Seven years after his mother's death, Fideo had accepted it the fact that she wouldn't come back alive, no matter how much you prayed or begged God.
It was then, a few days after his mother's death anniversary, he met a girl. A girl who he thought was the most beautiful of all with her platinum blonde locks and clear amethyst colored eyes. It was love at first sight, but only for Fideo.
Not long after his meeting with said girl, did he find out she was the daughter of the head boss of the mafia family that had done the shooting seven years back, the mafia family that killed his mom.
He was enraged so to speak, he felt betrayed by her. He trusted her, believed in her, told her how he loved her and told her his secrets. But now, none of that mattered. His image of her shattered, and so did his heart.
She begged him to forgive her, and her father's terrible actions, but he couldn't bring himself too, he just couldn't....
Fideo couldn't bring himself to truly trust anyone after that, or fall in love, despite him constantly flirting most of which were subconscious but still, all of it was just empty flirting, not that anyone could tell behind the mask he had created.
Fideo was afraid to love and to trust. He was afraid to commit to the things or people he loved if they were only going to be taken away from him.
He built a wall around himself, an invisible wall, a means to protect himself while still letting other people see him but not be truly close to him.
It came as no surprise that Fideo kept his own well hidden secrets from Gian and Marco, and no he didn’t keep a journal or diary filled with his deepest darkest secrets and/or feelings of frustrations or love or anything. He tried that once, writing down what he did and felt in a journal everyday for month but it became almost too bothersome to keep up with.
Besides, what if someone took a peek at it? Then what would be the use?
He’d rather bottle up the dark secrets and hidden emotions than let anyone else know of them.
Any secret of his should be kept hidden away, he didn’t want Gian or Marco to know about them, he didn’t want anyone to know about them.
And as for love, love wasn’t a thing always on Fideo’s mind despite being the constant flirt at times. Rather, it was the very last thing on his mind.
If you asked if Fideo had any secrets, he would say no and tell you he always told his friends/parental figures Marco and Gian everything.
No matter how much he flirts (sometimes not even realizing it), he vowed he wouldn’t fall in love. Not with anyone….
Sure his first kiss was taken by Marco, his best friend and teammate, but it didn’t mean much. At least not to Fideo. Yeah he kind of made a big deal about it but in truth, it actually didn’t bother him.
He was just more worried (more like afraid) of the fact that he may be falling in love.
The Italian teen stared blankly at the cup of latte in front of him, almost dazedly eating a piece of cake to accompany the drink. Perhaps he could consult Marco or Gian, but, they knew he flirted but not the reason why he never got into a relationship with anyone.
With a dragged out and somewhat tired sigh, Fideo propped his elbow on the table, leaning his chin against the palm of his hand. Falling in love seemed like something he wouldn’t have done until he was much much older. So why was he feeling this now? Its not like it was anything of importance for him but yet here he was, questioning himself and the vow he made several years ago, long before before joining Orpheus.
Heaving a tired sigh, Fideo glumly poked at the strawberry cake he had, ignoring the already cup of latte that grew cold. “Such complicated emotions..”

Characters: Gareki and Yogi
Pairing: Garegi
Genre: Angst
It's been a few months since he and Yogi started going out, things have been fine. Even though Gareki never did show much public affection towards Yogi, he always made it up when they were alone at least.
But lately, he's been noticed that Yogi has been acting a little distant lately and every time he inquires about it, Yogi would either drop the subject or change it all together.
Not to mention that Yogi was starting to become... distant. It was scaring Gareki; something he never thought Yogi would start doing. Yogi began to text Gareki less and less until the texts stopped coming altogether.
Worried that his boyfriend(?) wasn't responding to his texts anymore, Gareki went out to search for Yogi, hoping to get an explanation from the blond.
He checked the hospital to see if he got injured, nothing at all. Went to Yogi's apartment, he wasn't there.
Just as Gareki was going to head back to his own home after searching all day for Yogi, he spotted the blond, opening his mouth to call out to the older but stopped short and hid behind the wall, noticing that Yogi wasn't alone.
"He doesn't act affectionate with me at all unless we're alone. Aren't couples supposed to be affectionate with each other?"
Upon hearing that, Gareki swallowed nervously, body unable to move as if he was paralyzed and stuck in that spot as the next words that came from Yogi struck a knife through his heart.
"I'm considering breaking up with since this feels more one-sided than anything else."
Blue orbs widened, swallowing a lump in his throat as he finally got his body to move again, staggering away silently to go back home.
Instead of returning home, he found himself at a secluded part of the park, hot tears streaking down his cheeks, blurring his vision. Knees buckled beneath him, body collapsing to a sitting position on the grass.
Gareki didn't want to admit that he felt torn inside, like someone took his heart and ripped it out, leaving him empty. He felt empty. An empty space in where his heart used to be.
Why couldn't Yogi have told him this sooner? Gareki wasn't too keen on public affection because he was one to get nervous about it, he didn't mean to push away Yogi unintentionally...
Soon, quiet sobs were escaping him as he brought his knees to his chest, face burying in his arms.
No matter how hard he willed for the tears to stop, the tears kept streaking down his cheeks, staining them.
He didn't even bother answering his phone that was vibrating in his pocket, knowing it must be Yogi calling him to meet up.
Gareki didn't care if what he heard was a misunderstanding or not, but just hearing Yogi say it hurt more than he thought it would. It made him unable to even breathe properly as his breathing from hiccups to short and breathy gasps for air, a hand sliding down to grip the part of his shirt in where his heart would be, clutching there in an attempt to ease the extreme pain he felt.
He's had broken bones, bruises and injuries that caused physical pain, but it's been so long since he felt emotional pain.... This was much larger than he ever felt before.
Was this what heart break felt like? It almost made him want to never love again...
Again, he could feel his phone vibrate in his pocket; he would ignore it but it was starting to get on his nerves that Yogi kept calling him.
Taking out his phone as it started vibrating again, Gareki stared at the caller ID and all the text messages the blond had sent him. Flipping it open, he declined the call and promptly turned off his phone then took out the battery.
Stuffing the phone and the phone battery into his pocket, the teen staggered to stand up, eyes red and puffy from the tears.
With a grunt, he started walking, this time towards the river with one thought in mind: throw the phone and phone battery into the river.
A simple thing, hoping it would ease the pain he felt.
Once arriving at the river, he took out the two items and tossed them into the water without any hesitation, watching it sink into the water before turning around and walking away, heading towards the outskirts of town.
Maybe taking a walk on the outskirts of town could help him... If not, then, the option of leaving the town sounded good.
He could erase any and all information on his in this town and move out overnight without notifying anyone.
Gareki knew he would be running away from his troubles, but this was something he felt like he didn't want to face yet. Not yet.
So like the thief he was, he had erased everything of himself in the city and even moving out all of the very few belongings he had out of the apartment and fled into the night, leaving nothing of his for anyone to remember him by.
To most people, he was just another face on the street; but to others, he was someone that engraved a unforgettable impression or memory of him.
Baby, can’t you see
I’m calling
A guy like you
Should wear a warning
It’s dangerous
I’m fallin’
Everything about him was too damn alluring. Even the way he spoke childishly in front of everyone but when they were alone, did that childish demeanor almost disappear.
Just thinking about it sent a shiver down his spine. If only the other knew how much it drove him crazy just from simple touches, like the kisses to his neck or collar bone. Or even slender fingers brushing against the baseline of his neck.
There’s no escape
I can’t wait
I need a hit
Baby, give me it
You’re dangerous
I’m lovin’ it
He knew he was caught in a spider's web, enraptured by the beauty of something so dangerous and poisonous. No matter how many times he out right denied public affection with his boyfriend, he always made it up to the other when they were alone.
Heated kisses would be exchanged and cold hands trailing up his shirt; lips attaching themselves to his neck, leaving marks. Teeth dragging itself across his skin that caused ripples through his body.
This was a toxic poison that he would never get tired of.
