All Good Things Must Come to an Egg || Event End

It's been a fun four days celebrating the best holiday of the year: April Fools Day, though it seemed to have made a corporate merger with Easter considering all the eggs. The Easter bunny's fallen in on some rough times...

In any case, with the end of the event means the cleaning of the museum. One particular person, who will not be named (though certainly if you must know, it's Ruby), is assigned the task of cleaning this mess: bird droppings, bodily fluids, eggs, the whole lot. Anyone, of course, is free to help out this atoning soul. 

The items in the gift shop and the cafe will be returned to their regular stock. This meaning, it is no longer possible to purchase Egg or a pass into the basement. Don't let that stop you from pursuing your own investigations, though you might incur some legal wrath for trespassing. 

Special notes:

Ongoing basement threads are allowed to continue

If you have purchased a pass into the basement, but have not made a thread, you are still allowed to do so

The live eggs, ones that hold a baby chick, will hatch tomorrow, Saturday, April 5th, at 9 AM Toshi time. This is an arbitrary number in real life, but in Toshi, it will be reported as all eggs hatching at 9 AM sharp.

Specifically, the event will end at 10 PM EST, so two hours from right this very moment.

Friendly reminder that the Egg and the basement aren't the only things the museum has to offer right now! 

There's plenty of extremely strange exhibits on display with a few crows flying and pecking about. Please do be careful. The most violent ones escaped the room. 

On the second floor, is, of course, what was the Dove room, but it's now filled with crows. The most docile crows have stayed in the room. Perhaps make friends with them?

And on the highest floor, the third floor, there is, of course, the rave. There doesn't seem to be strict enforcement of who can gain admittance...

To stimulate the Toshi economy (mostly the museum economy because, hey, all these shenanigans weren't free!!), we are revealing the different price tiers at which different Egg prizes are given.

The current more well known tiers will be labeled as such.

A small clarification:

We would like if patrons wishing to buy ??? MNG Egg to give their offer of a price rather than ask for directly the "type" of Egg you would like. After all, these Egg should be a surprise to everyone.

Each prize is tiered by price, but what price gets you what? Well, the only thing confirmed is that giving 1 MNG causes the cashier to egg you in the face. Be careful.

Io, in exchange for your money, you have been given two live colored Egg, and one that doesn’t seem so live. We don’t give change for purchases of Egg. Sorry for the inconvenience, but hey… you got three Egg!

One live Egg is pastel pink, the other is leaf green, and the not so live one is a deep blue.

The specific Egg you’re asking for will cost 2000 MNG each. Please, if we see any abuse of Egg then we will have to get the TCDF to detain you.

Museum Basement

The basement is accessed through one particular dove statue. A certain part of the statue must be pushed in so that statue begins to move, revealing a staircase leading downward. Once a certain step is reached, the statue will move back into place. A certain part of the wall must be pressed to open it again. 

The descent is dark. There are lanterns on the walls, but they are not lit, nor do they show any signs of having been lit in a while. Once the stairs are scaled, the area opens up to a more modern place where there is an actual light switch. The first area is lit up by only a single lightbulb, but there isn't much to see in that room. The corpses of doves, old and new, litter the ground. The distinct smell of death permeates all across the room. There is a door on the opposite side to the stairs.

The next room is larger, and it seems like a hub leading to other parts of the basement. This area is lit up by many florescent lights on the ceiling. The walls, floor, and ceiling are suppose to be white marble like the exterior of the museum, but have been faded into a dirty gray. Spiderwebs dot the corners of the room and the air feels stagnant, though the smell of death hasn't seem to have penetrated the area surprisingly. The room is filled with the old exhibits that have been taken down for the event as well as other objects one would expect of a storage closet. 

The door on the right wall from the stairs leads to a long hallway with steel doors dotting its walls. The steel doors lead to an area that looks like a jail cell: it has a sink and a toilet as well as a dirty and dusty cot. At the end of the hall, there is nothing of note.

The door on the left wall from the stairs leads to a smaller hall with normal wooden doors on its walls. The doors lead to an area that seems like normal rooms albeit they are old and dusty: a dresser, a bed, a small bathroom with a shower, and a desk with a chair are present in each room. At the end of the hall, there lies one last room. This room seems like all the other, however the desk seems to be missing all together.

The door across the room from the stairs is another hallway. There's only three doors in this hall, one on either wall and one at the end of the hall. The two doors on the walls leads to a place that seems like an old laboratory. Dust covered test tubes lay abandoned and cracked among ripped files and old, smashed computers. A steel bed with leather straps is in the middle of the chaos; it seems like it was the operating table. In the corner is a chair that is ominously similar to an electric chair. One of these chairs holds a corpse. 

The door at the end of this hall is unable to be opened. Because the door is steel plated, it's impossible to force it open.
