help i'm trying to figure out what the hell was this product i used a few years ago so I can buy more
It was a skin on-the-spot treatment, it was astringent i think, and had limonene in it. It was a clear thin liquid, and the packaging was a little tube about the size of a chapstick, but glass, with a glass roller-ball so that it could be released in very fine amounts, since the glass ball was set so tightly that the liquid couldn't leak out unless you rolled it. It felt very cool to apply on your face due to the glass ball. I rolled it on zits on my upper lip morning and night to dry them up.
I bought it in approximately summer 2021 or 2022. I think I got it from Target, in either Arizona or New Mexico, but they seem to have tossed my purchase history from that era and I can't tell that they carry it anymore (and even at the time it wasn't at all locations, I remember searching nearby stores on a road trip). I wonder if it might have been Thayers brand but if so they no longer list it on their website.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Is it still extant? I thought I had a bottle/tube in my travel kit but i just poked around my suitcase and if's not there.
There are strange shadows fostered of the moon, More numerous than the clear-cut shade of day . . . Go forth, when all the leaves whisper of June, Into the dusk of swooping bats at play; Or go into that late November dusk When hills take on the noble lines of death, And on the air the faint, astringent musk Of rotting leaves pours vaguely troubling breath. Then shall you see shadows whereof the sun, Knows nothing—aye, a thousand shadows there Shall leap and flicker and stir and stay and run, Like petrels of the changing foul or fair; Like ghosts of twilight, of the moon, of him Whose homeland lies past each horizon's rim . . .

Clinique’s Clarifying Lotion: Everyday Exfoliator, Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion + and Liquid Facial Soap Mild were a HUGE let-down for me! My face constantly felt dried out. I have combination/normal skin. It’s mainly just oily in the T zone and dry on my cheeks and jaw. These products made my skin feel chemically burnt, raw, and dryer than a desert. I started out by religiously following the instructions but by the 3rd month, I was using the smallest amount of the soap, none of the astringent/”exfoliator” and a huge ass amount of the lotion. Definitely not ideal.
I had to switch to a different line because my face was so red and breaking out worse than before I started.
***I would rate Clinique 1 out of 5 stars. I love that they had every step to a skincare routine, but their products had very adverse reactions. I recognize that everyone’s bodies are different and there are some people who may really enjoy Clinique, but I can’t recommend them based on my experience.
TLDR; There is a good chance that Clinique will dry out your skin.

Did you know that witch hazel is thought to be first used by Native Americans for its medicinal properties? Back in the day, it was used to treat swelling, inflammation and tumours. Nowadays, some people think it can even give you witchy powers!
As it’s an astringent, it’s widely used in the skincare world to treat blemishes and soothe skin. You can find it in cleansers, toners and salves, to help treat acne-prone skin the traditional way ✔️ Here are some popular picks with this hard-working ingredient.
Silverweed - Medicinal Uses
Silverweed is primarily used for its astringent effect due to its content of tannins.
The root normally contains more tannins than the aerial parts.
It is less astringent than tormentil (Potentilla erecta) and creeping cinquefoil (Potentilla reptans).
The similar medicinal effect of silverweed and tormentil has meant that they can be used in the same way as a natural treatment for diarrhea and minor external and internal bleeding.
