happy 4th month to our wonderful writers! admin hightower and I wanted to give our writers a present for our anniversary. starting from today, monday june 8th 10:00am est, will be our meme week. which will subsequently end next monday june 15th 10:00 am est. 

during this week, you are free to send in as many memes to your fellow writers as many times as you like, just as long as the memes come from the list below under the read more section. after the 15th, you're free to answer any remaining memes in your inbox, but you cannot send any more to anyone's inboxes after the deadline.

I really love this group but the focus on ships constantly is making me slightly uncomfortable. It feels like people don't really care about anything other than ships.

Hi lovely, it may feel that way sometimes when people get carried away talking about drama in the ooc chats but to be fair, I personally have seen a lot of threads that focus on family relationships as well as beautiful friendships. And a handful of political ones as well. So in terms of plotting and threading, we believe that everything is pretty balanced. Now dash & character commentary. I can see that there are period of times when several members get a little too excited about romantic drama and it feels like those are the popular topics. I myself have been guilty of that. However to be fair, I have also seen several discussions about family, political and friendship dynamics as well so I wouldn't say that our members don't care about anything else or that they do not talk about anything else. I know I myself have gushed about those other types of relationship in the channels as well. If you feel that a particular member or two only cares about shipping, then please do reach out to us off-anon or you can open a ticket in the discord. We want to always do our best to help! All that being said, members this is a gentle reminder to also hype up more about other types of plot topics and relationships, thank you!
