They'd insisted that Zander continue to stay at the Barns, even after he assured them that it would be no problem to get a hotel somewhere nearby. "Isn't there a bed and breakfast in Henrietta? That's close enough." It was close, but Adam would've felt bad about the man leaving on his behalf. Zander had traveled across time zones to be here with Ronan, and it wasn't like they weren't friends anymore just because Adam was suddenly back in the picture. So after a few rounds of debate Zander finally caved, and moved his bag into one of the spare rooms.
They were all sleeping separately now, even him and Ronan. Though they'd decided to try and make their relationship work, and they already loved each other, it was still a slow process as they took the time to become reacquainted. They were older now, and though they'd been together for years in their teens they'd done a lot of growing as people since then, and so they'd both agreed that there was no need to rush back into things.
Now it had been a week since Adam moved back, and as the three of them learned how to exist in the same space something quickly became apparent to Adam. The next time he got Ronan alone he confronted him about it, being very careful to keep his tone neutral. He wasn't accusing him, after all, merely stating an observation. "You're in love with him."
