We’re finally at the 600th chapter of Part 2, so the author left us her thoughts on it.

Author’s Note

Hello, this is Yoo Ryeo Han. To celebrate the 600th chapter of Part 2, I wanted to leave this afterword. Haha! Since I’ve been writing this single story for over eight years now, there are many times when I feel like the characters in it are truly my friends and family. And I often feel a similar way toward you, my readers. Although I don’t get to check the comments very often, whenever I do happen to look, my heart swells with emotion as I realize just how many memories I’ve built with all of you over the course of this serialization. Truly, through Lout of Count's Family, so many precious things have come into my life. Because of that, I want to do my absolute best to continue writing this story well and to see it through to completion. Hmm, as for the conclusion of Part 2… hmm, I still don't really know, haha! Well, I suppose it will end someday! Hahaha! However, I promise to keep writing diligently without ever forgetting how I feel right now. I look forward to your continued support. Thank you, always.

To commemorate Part 2's 500th chapter, I wanted to say hello after so long, so I'm leaving this message.

Already 500 chapters!

I'm so happy to share this moment with all of you readers!

I think I'll celebrate this joy by eating some delicious meat! Haha!

Back in the early days of Part 2, I thought reaching around Chapter 500 would mean we were nearing the latter half of the story, maybe even approaching the conclusion.

Oh my, how wrong I was! Hahaha!

These days, I feel immense gratitude for being able to write such a long story, the story that Cale and his companions will unfold.

I believe this is only possible because of the readers who are always with me.

That makes me feel even more thankful.

Greetings, this is Yoo Ryeo Han. I'm writing to tell you that I'm taking a break. For the month of December, I'm going to be taking a very long hiatus. The series will resume on January 1st. I'm really sorry to have to share this news. I think it's only fair that I give you a short explanation of why I'm taking this long hiatus, so I'm going to write a slightly longer post. Well, I'll probably be undergoing surgery by the time this chapter is published. I haven't been feeling well since this summer, and I chalked it up to just being out of shape and not taking care of myself. However, as time went on, I didn't feel better, but rather worse. Eventually, after more tests, I found out that I needed surgery. Luckily, it's not a big deal! Haha! However, I need time to recover from the surgery, and it's not convenient for me to work on writing for a long time, so I've decided to take a month-long hiatus. Again, I apologize for that. I'll be back in good health in the new year, and return with more of my best writing. It's a little early, but I'd like to send you some holiday greetings. Reactions to Crazier Bastard's Chapter 300 + Author's Note

Brief summary: Game tries to eliminate Cale. Tutorial boss saves Cale. System AI makes a deal with Cale.

Cale entering the game world was confusing to his ancient powers who were unfamiliar with it. Cale and DA then discuss the possibility that the saint and GoC were related to the game world. But Cale made a mistake here. He should have kept his conversation with DA to himself and not spoken it aloud. 😂

Cale: I think there's a high possibility that they (GoC) are at the center of it. Game: Would you like to use the nickname "I think there's a high possibility that they are at the center of it"? Cale: Damn it. Game: Would you like to use the nickname "Damn it"? #%f@%fd Cale: Huh? Game: $#&*#%System^%error^%^#occurs$%$^ Cale: ???

The game then classified Cale as an unauthorized user and proceeded to eliminate him. Cale thought he was just going to be kicked out, but his meeting with an NPC made him realize that something dangerous might happen if he did not escape here.

The NPC was a demon dressed in aristocratic attire and described as a masculine, "decadent", and handsome man. In Korea, having a "decadent appearance" could mean several things:

Black theme - black hair, black clothes, dark atmosphere

Mature look - sensual or captivating eyes

Gloomy air or drowsy look - dark circles on eyes, uses goth or emo makeup

Some are described to be yandere or have mental health problems

This new NPC fit the black theme definition because he was the Count of Darkness, Lupe II. Cale thought Lupe II had come to attack him, so he tried to defend himself. But Cale and the APs were shocked when he couldn't use any of his powers!

Why? Because Cale was inside a game and was in the process of creating a new account. He still did not have a level or any skills. So he couldn't use any of his "outside" powers inside the game.

Fortunately, Count Lupe II was not an enemy. In fact, he was urgently trying to save Cale from the game which wanted to eliminate Cale. But something seemed to be hindering him from approaching Cale, so Cale had to run just to grab Lupe's hand. 🤣🤣🤣

Game: *tries to eliminate Cale* Cale: Ah, seriously! *runs to reach the demon's hand* Cale: (If I want to survive and not get destroyed, I have to catch that demon's hand!) DA: *scared* Hey, hey! Catch it! Cale, catch it! Shield AP: You should have exercised. Narrator: Cale somehow ran. Yes, his Kim Rok Soo self that contained all of his long years of life experience did. And he believed in the physical talent of Cale Henituse contained within him, in the power hidden within his muscles. Cale: *finally grabs the demon's hand*

Glutton priestess, what? 🤣🤣🤣 Why did you have to bring up Cale's lack of physical exercise? 😂😂😂 And the narration wasn't helping. 🤣🤣🤣 DA though. I noticed this in the past chapters... but wasn't he actually a coward who liked to bluff? DA was always portrayed as someone who loved to dominate people, but in the recent chapters (their encounter with the gods, and now this game), DA kept getting scared easily. 😂 A coward who liked to bluff? Wasn't that CJG? So was DA really CJG? 🤔

Back to the topic, the game's elimination mode was turning everything around them red and having alarms sounding off all the time. The red sky split, and a red hand with vein-like red tubes filled with black liquid descended, trying to grab Cale.

But Lupe II managed to escape with Cale from the red hand, teleporting to his dungeon, Hell of Darkness. It turned out that Lupe II was the tutorial NPC final boss. Befitting his Count of Darkness title, his room was full of dark/black furniture fit for a noble. And despite his dark theme, he was an emotional man who easily cried.

More surprises appeared. Lupe II was an NPC who was aware that he was an NPC and in a game. He knew about the hunters and the world outside the game. It all started when the game's System AI, the one in charge of managing NPCs and giving quests, began acting strange. This led to Lupe II becoming self-aware and gaining outside knowledge. And Lupe II was frustrated because no one knew about the System AI acting strange, even the game developers.

Lupe II was hostile to the hunters, so he almost cried in relief when Cale said he "hunted" hunters. And as if the System AI was watching them, a system window appeared in front of Cale, giving him 2 quests.

[Quest 1. Find the hero with Count Lupe and stop the terrifying @#%&^* god who is trying to destroy this world!] [Quest 2. Please find my 'oppa' with Count Lupe]

In the end, Cale figured out that there were two AI involved here. One was the AI that Ahn Roh Man (ARM) considered as his "hyung", the AI his parents secretly hid in the game and mentioned in previous chapters. The other was the System AI mentioned today, who called ARM's hyung as her oppa because she was an AI created after the first one.

Ooooh... Since Alberu was the "hero", then the System AI was making Cale the "hero's companion" together with Count Lupe. Would Cale meet Alberu soon in the game world? But what happened to her oppa? Did something happen to ARM's hyung?

Cale told the System AI that he would tell her information about her oppa. In exchange, he wanted her to create a user account for him without the knowledge of the hunters. Of course, this wouldn't be TCF if there wasn't comedy... 😂

System AI said she couldn't do that, but because there was a huge update patch coming soon to the game, she sneaked in Cale by making him a half-demon and giving him the account of a... Tutorial Hidden Final Boss NPC. 🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile, Cale's second group arrived at Exion's place. It had been 6 hours since Cale fainted, according to Raon's timer. Ron was gently smiling while cleaning Cale's bloodstained clothes, and Eruhaben was staring at Cale as if he was a cute grandchild.

Why does this chapter feel like an info dump? But I never expected Cale to become an NPC, a hidden final boss at that. 😂 I'm excited to see Alberu's reaction when he meets NPC boss Cale. 🤣🤣🤣

Reactions to Chaos Creator's Chapter 278 and 6th Anniversary

Brief summary: Epley confirms she attacked CJG. CH and CJS are very angry. Cale also gets angry after seeing Maren's wings attached to elderly mage's back. Eru beats up Ryan.

Today marks the 6th anniversary of LCF/TCF! 🎉 On April 9, 2018, the Prologue and 1st chapter of TCF part 1 were published on Munpia. To commemorate this day, the author released Chapter 278 early even though this was outside her chapter release schedule of MWF. She added her greetings at the end of the chapter.

So I would like to send you this greeting along with some words. It's already been 6 years…! There's still a long way to go…! But wow... it's been that long? I started reading this series around summer of 2019 and began buying chapter raws on RIDI around October of 2019. So I've been suffering from reading MTL for 5 years, hahaha 🤣🤣🤣

Today could be summarized with one word: Angry. Cale's group were all angry. CJS confirmed Epley's a God of Chaos believer because of the pattern on her neck. And then she also confirmed that she fought CJG... which infuriated both CH and CJS who expressed their anger through "gentle" smiles and laughter.

God of Chaos liked chaotic things like mutations, variations, and hybrids, so his followers valued chimeras. The elderly mage that Cale's group had been searching was a chimera. He was a human, but on his back were... small dragon wings. Yes, it was Maren's wings.😡

Thus, Cale was really furious at the hunters. Fire AP too because of all the black liquid in the place, which he described to be 5x worse than Black Despair.

Ending Remarks So much anger today. Fortunately, Eru beat up Ryan that his face was swollen. Ryan falling down to the black liquid meant that this was not the end though. Next chapter would be Cale's response to finally getting the corrupted divine item.

Reactions to Deal Maker's Chapter 201

TL;DR - Cale gives gifts to the kids. Learns about On and Lily's academy plans. Clopeh offers his sword to Cale. Cale is troubled on how to explain Ahn Roh Man's weeb and gaming terms.

Santa Cale It was the new year already when Cale returned from the Central Plains, so following Korean custom (of the author), everyone turned one year older. Thus, Cale congratulated the three children who were now average ten year olds. 🥰

For the gifts:

Hong - 5 of the 9 treasure poisons of the Tang Clan. It was originally supposed to be 3, but the Tang Clan increased it to 5 to thank their benefactor after Cale's miracle in Hainan Island

On - 30 items he got from the GED, like daggers, elixirs, and so on.

Cale gave something to Sheritt too, but it was not mentioned. As for Raon, he brought a basket of sweets and still-steaming hot dumplings for the kittens and his mom. The author is projecting her dumpling obsession on Raon... 🤣🤣🤣

Academy Arc Because On turned 13, Cale thought of sending her to the academy to gain more life experiences and meet more peers. He thought the wolf children were not enough. But he found out from On and Ron that On had already made plans to attend.

Cale also recalled his younger sister Lily. Ron said that Lily would be attending the academy too, but in a higher grade because she wanted to study military science. Of course, Cale was supportive of Lily's decision. 🥰

Knight Clopeh Half of the chapter was about Clopeh, so I'm really happy! Yes, I'm a huge Clopeh fan. I wanted to translate the entire part about Clopeh, but this is a reaction post, not a translation one, so I'm sorry... 😞

Anyway, Cale asked Clopeh what he wanted to do if he could use the sword again. Clopeh went through some introspection about his past with Cale, and ultimately made a decision. He knelt down on one knee and dedicated his sword to his Cale-nim! 🤩

I really liked this part because it showed how Cale's relationship with Clopeh had greatly changed. From enemies to close allies. Of course, Cale pretended to not care much, but Clopeh knew that Cale did care about him. 😂

Cale had CH give the murim martial arts book to Clopeh. He wanted Clopeh to take HD's role and become stronger too. Also something about how Clopeh would now use his sword to save lives.

After CH and Clopeh left the room, Cale suddenly had a bad feeling. It was not a surprise because at that time, Clopeh was thinking something like, "I can't become a legend. But I will help create that path for my Cale-nim!" 🤣🤣🤣 Oh, Clopeh, this is why I love you~ 🥰

Ahn Roh Man is a Weeb The last part was also funny. Alberu suddenly called Cale because of some "emergency." Turns out, he had talked to Ahn Roh Man and misunderstood several terms the latter used. It all started when Cale told Alberu to mention "The Blue One" to Ahn Roh Man and gauge the latter's reaction.

And Ahn Roh Man's reply confused Alberu.

Ahn Roh Man thought The Blue One was a guy 😂

The two agreed to a "hyunpi", but The Blue One did not show up.

Ahn Roh Man said The Blue One almost spilled his "dark past."

Also said The Blue One caused him quite a considerable crisis (because of the dark past).

Hyunpi is a Korean gaming term. Hyun came from "hyunsil" which means "reality", and Pi came from P of PK (Player Kill). It means when two gamers who are having an online fight/argument get so angry that they agree to meet in real life and settle it there personally (through physical violence). So instead of a meet-and-greet, it's like a "meet-and-fight."

I can't think of an English equivalent to that term. But from what I know, some hyunpi meetings become violent enough that it made headline news in Korea. Gamers in Korea are just on a different level...

As for "dark past", it's an East Asian slang. It refers to an adult recalling the shameful, cringe-worthy, and embarrassing things they did in their childhood and teenage years. Most weebs use it to refer to their past as a chuunibyou, but it can also mean the stupid stuff you did as a teen.

So when Ahn Roh Man said he was in a crisis, it was because he was afraid of The Blue One spilling his dark past. 🤣🤣🤣 But Alberu misunderstood that and thought The Blue One was some powerful person who caused the president of a country some serious trouble... 🤣🤣🤣

Even Raon thought the same as Alberu. Cale was shocked in learning that Ahn Roh Man was such a weeb and gamer, and then did a facepalm. Alberu and Raon asking Cale what "hyunpi" and "dark past" meant was so funny. 😂

Cale was troubled on how to explain those terms. And Ron wasn't helping because he suddenly asked Cale if he wanted some lemonade. 😂

Ending Remarks Next chapter will probably be Cale explaining those terms to the Roan residents. And hopefully, Cale's talk with Ron. Cale was actually troubled today on how to explain about the KRS-Cale stuff to Ron, but Alberu suddenly called, so it got postponed.

But seriously, where are CJS and LSH? They still haven't been mentioned! Mary and the half-blood dragon were mentioned to be training together, but what about the Soos? What happened to them? What about Toonka and Durst?

And because today is the 1000th chapter of TCF, our author wrote another Author's Note:

Reactions to Deal Maker's Chapter 200

TL;DR - Angry dragons. Emperor and Wi talk about Cale's rumors. Caleism in Central Plains. Cale and Eru talk about Aipotu and Maxi. Cale returns home and meets Clopeh.

Angry Dragons Continuing with the last chapter, the dragons were noticeably angry. Even our tsundere Rasheel was muttering, "How dare those dragon bastards of another world, to our youngest..." Not much happened here. Raon was only confused with the atmosphere, while Cale was holding back his laugh at the Aipotu dragons being cursed at by his world's dragons.

Caleism in Central Plains I thought murim arc was over, but we get a scene of the emperor and Chief Eunuch Wi. They were talking about the rumors spreading about Cale.

The emperor's impression of Cale was an arrogant man, but thought that Cale did not deserve to remain a human, so he had gifted the immortal's clothes to Cale.

Wi knew that the Hainan Island's residents who witnessed Cale's miracle had now become Caleism believers. The murim people even treated Cale as a pioneer and their goal in martial arts.

What these two did not know was that Cale gained two new titles. One was the Sea Emperor, and the second was Martial God (or God of Martial Arts)... 🤣🤣🤣

Crazy Clopeh Cale and Eruhaben had some conversation about Aipotu, the World Tree, and Maxi (the dead dragon in Central Plains). Afterwards, Eruhaben left to visit the WT while Cale had some small talk with Alberu before going home to Sheritt's black castle.

Before leaving, Cale had informed Alberu that he had contacted Hannah and Clopeh to come to Roan, so they would probably be arriving in a few days. But lo and behold, when Cale arrived at the black castle's entrance, he immediately saw Clopeh... 😂

Clopeh was his usual strange self, kneeling down to Cale and looking at him with burning eyes as he said that he was waiting for Cale to call him... 🤣🤣🤣 Raon said something about how Clopeh was the best, and Cale wondered what he meant, but didn't want to know the answer. 😂

Cale only told Clopeh to come and did not say that he had a way to fix Clopeh's body. As Clopeh let out a strange laugh and was saying something like he finally had a chance to join the legend, Cale realized that no one in the other worlds could rival Clopeh in his strangeness... 🤣🤣🤣

Ending Remarks Today was a good chapter, with Clopeh's appearance at the end as the highlight. And because today's the 200th chapter, the author included a message for us!

Author's Notes Greetings, this is Yoo Ryeo Han. This is my greetings in celebration of the 200th episode of Part 2. …Part 2… Episode 200… 2…200… 2… 2… Two, two… I'm sorry. But it's really strange. Clearly, at the time of preparing Part 2, I thought… 'Around 50 chapters per family, so 250 chapters! I'll add 50 more chapters to finish it in 300 episodes!' Did I plan it like this?
