Amy had been mulling it over in her mind for weeks, the decision to tell Dean the truth. She knew he deserved nothing but, yet she was afraid she’d lose one of her most important allies if she did. Not to mention the fact that she’d probably have to rehash the entirety of the Capitol Party just so he’d know what she was talking about. She definitely wasn’t looking forward to that.
However, the truth still stood that she didn’t feel good about her odds of survival this time around. If she were to die, then let it be with a (fairly) clean conscience. If she did survive, then it was up to her to live with the consequences of her actions, even if that meant living with one less friend (or two less, depending on how Sam felt).
She spotted Dean not too far into the shop’s secret passage and took a deep breath as she pressed herself to keep moving forward. She placed a hand on his shoulder to get his attention before speaking, relieved as always to drop the fake accent she’d been using all day. “Can we talk? It’s important.”
