Asking Simblr: What's your tiara lore?

Oooooohh!

When royal ladies turn 18 and come of age they get an adulthood tiara. This is the tiara they wear until getting married and gaining their "own" personal tiara.

Adulthood tiaras are circulated though members but personal tiaras only go back into circulation after their current owners death

If a member of the royal family is non-binary (like Ben!) they get to choose whether they want to wear a tiara or not. So technically Charleston could have a masculine representing sim wearing a tiara!

If the current monarch is a king he’ll only wear a crown during the coronation (and following jubilees), their wedding and portraits. Queens or non-binary monarchs however wear tiaras for most royal events.

5. Will burn water? Would impress Gordon Ramsay? - Both Ben and Stefan don't know how to cook. Stefan cause he's been too busy to learn and Ben cause he's always had someone else to do it. Michael and Julia are the family's master chefs. Probably cause they have the most time for it.

8. Is neurodivergent? - Both Damien and Britta have ADHD.

15. Takes their shirt off as often as Jacob Black? - 1000% Michael. Yes he kept the habit even after marrying Hen.

16. Swears like a sailor? Favorite swears? - Ben. His favorites are all the very vulgar ones.

22. Watches cartoons as an adult? - Julia, Damien and Britta all do. Damien's favorite is The Dragon Prince, Julia's is The Legend of Korra and Britta's is Gravity Falls.

30. Is there something they secretly wish they could do but are too afraid to? - I think right now the one most on his mind is to come clean about being a spellcaster. He can't help to think what kind of a future he's giving his daughters by keeping his and their magic hidden.

38. Who had the biggest impact in their life, both positive and negative? - His father. Henrik looked up to him due to his resilience, honesty and calm nerves but that he also knew how to laugh and let loose. For the longest time he was everything Hen wanted to be. Sadly the older he grew the more his view of his father changed and at the end he was the one who hurt him the most.

Hi there nonnie! Hmmm well since Michael is originally @officalroyalsofpierreland 's character I can't say for certain but I'm sure she'll correct me if I say something completely ridiculous

5. At what stage of their life were they the happiest? - I'd honestly say that now at his life with Henrik (well maybe not right now because war).

18. Do they have a certain skill that they’re particularly proud of? - I'd say he has great pride in his skills as a swimmer. He did win an Olympic medal for it after all. Oh and definitely making Henrik flustered! He'd win a gold medal in that for sure xD

Do you have any almost baby names from your story? If so what are they? And why would they be for?! I'm curious ❤️

Hi there nonnie and thanks for asking! I do have a few! (Mostly in the next gen though) Mary-Helene was supposed to be named Helena at first but I left that for our favorite Monacan Queen.

Out of gen 3 the only one I can tell you now with out spoilers is that one name I was considering for Aurora was Jeanne Victoria (a nod to both Jeanne of Arc and Henrik's mother Victoria) but I ended up going with a shorter and more memorable name. I really try to choose names that would be 1. reflective of their character and 2. accurate to their heritage. So since Charleston is loosely inspired by Sweden they have more Nordic names (hence the reason why Nikolas is spelled with a 'K' for example). I also try to avoid repeating names since I want each of my characters to have their own name. I hope this answers your question!
