Education Dare Day
For Elementary teachers that use the Teacher’s College Reading/Writing Project aka Lucy Calkins’ curriculum. This is the first real year that I’m implementing TCRWP (last year doesn’t count- I was not teaching it with fidelity or support) so I have some questions:
1. How do you make the mini-lesson only 7 minutes??? Mine are currently at least 15-20, sometimes more. Yikes.
2. Best conferencing tips? How do I talk to my 5th graders about a book I haven’t read? What’s the best way to conference writing without spending super long with each kid?
3. I’m open to any tips or tricks related to Lucy! Bring ‘em on!
