I JUST FINISHED LISTENING TO PROJECT HAIL MARY AND IT'S SO GOOD!!! AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE!

I'm really glad I was able to spend time with the book before seeing the movie, what a great story. And better yet, since the movie's still in theaters where I live, I'm making plans to see it early next week!

I can't wait. In the meantime, I might start working on a related crochet project :)

I finally managed to get my hands on the audiobook for Project Hail Mary, and I've only gotten through 6 chapters so far but I'm absolutely loving this book. The scientific space jargon and speculative biology and sense of humor are all so delightful! I'm going in completely blind and really wanted to read the book before seeing the movie, so I'm grateful I was able to manage it.

Please don't share any spoilers, but let me know if you've ever read the book! I'd love to hear your thoughts c:

I swear this will be the year I finally draw something for mermay, even if it's just a sketch.

It's gonna happen. It has to. I can't keep ignoring my merfolk like this, especially during their month. They deserve better.

I knew it’d be slim pickings but everyone I come across is too normal #I’m not desperate for a relationship. I’ve never dated before so I was just giving things a try #but the whole experience is so discouraging
