‘What...’ Shoto chanced a glance around them. It wasn’t a dream. ‘What is this place?’

‘My secret garden.’ Izuku grinned, as if having an inside joke with himself. ‘I’ve been growing it for the past several years now. No one other than me has been here before though. I haven’t told anyone about this either, because I can’t afford to get my people’s hopes up if it doesn’t work.’

‘Crazy...’ Shoto murmured, more to himself.

‘Like, this tree here.’ Izuku took Shoto’s hand and pulled him towards the blossoming citrus tree. ‘Growing up, we’re taught that this is one the most deadly fruits of the forest and that one bite can kill, but when grown in the right conditions, I found that it is actually really healthy.’

This is my piece for the @tododekubigbang of this year! I was paired with the lovely Agar ( @broccoliboix5peepeeman ) to illustrate his fic, The Legend of the Wind!
