dearly devoured is very very fitting to Cynikai’s lore and character in general. When they were still primarily under Drahemos’s influence, they did not feel as though there was an opportunity to escape.. ever. It was constant.

warbler manipulating them via coercion in exchange for maybe a tiny little POSSIBILITY of not being awake the next time something needed to be done.

Eurich (Envy): smug, charismatic, strongly dislikes bugs despite being a mantis dragon. Needlessly cruel, though only in terms of words.

Amorus (Lust): very flirtatious, prefers to wear more revealing outfits than any of the others. She’s popular, but also disliked.

Lumin (Pride): verY, VERY strong sense of justice. The one responsible for Aurellion’s death. They’re cold and generally apathetic, though bringing about one’s karma does bring him joy, though only temporary.

Dredge (Wrath): not afraid to get his hands dirty. Primarily the one who handles the hitman business. Doesn’t enjoy killing, but does it because he’s the one least traumatized from the whole ‘incident’.

Canellia (Sloth): Always tired, no matter how hard she tries. Only summoned when they need to take a break from working themselves into the ground. Enjoys gardening.

Myrios (Greed): Flirtatious, though not to the degree of Amorus. Enjoys spending hours on end binge drinking and manipulating the odds while gambling. She also enjoys dancing in her free time.

Hex (Gluttony): Ravenous craving for violence. It used to be much more restrained, though after the incident, became much more aggressive. Little remains of its initial self.

out here rethinking on if I want to bring back the au where Cynikai goes crazy much much earlier than they do in canon and creates a mechanical version of themselves since they can no longer serve their purpose. I’m thinking about it.

I am not saying this lightly. Out of all of my characters who’ve done horrible things, he’s the worst. He might not have a kill count in the millions like Drahemos, but at least his victims usually didn’t suffer.

He’s the one who made Cynikai… how they are now.

Bad End where they end up using too much of their power, draining their Soulprism which ends up also draining their ‘soul’/sanity.

Drahemos is gone for good this time, but now He has a replacement who was literally designed to be a killing machine by Him himself. Joy!
