Payton woke up his arm draped over the little frame laying curled up against him. He sighed happily and pressed a kiss to the top of her head before rolling off the bed. He leaned over and tucked her small body in with the duvet and then moved from the bedroom toward the kitchen to make them breakfast.
He put some toast in the toaster and eggs on the frying pan. He glanced up at the clock it was still kind of early only ten in the morning. He looked down at lucky who pawed his leg and a small smile crossed his lips as he reached down and gave the puppy a soft pat. He looked toward the bedroom door checking if there was any noise and body moving from the room.
