He had everything. Every single thing a 19 year old would want and they took it away. Well, actually they left him without it.
"Come on, it will be fun." She said. Simba's family wanted to go to the circus for the day. "I'm way too old for that shit", he had told her mother a thousand times. Then his father came into the room and everything suddenly got worse. Nothing new, though.
Long story short, they dragged Simon into the car and took him to the circus. They walked around the shops and food tents, they watched some shows, or well, Simon pretended to watch some shows. To the eyes of everyone else, they were a normal mid-high class family, on the insides, Simba hated them both. They had raised him in a home where he was alone all the time, and to compensate that, they'd give him everything he asked for. Ha! And now they were complaining about how unthankful he was. His mother... Well, she was just... you know... his mom. His fath... wait... He couldn't even mention that word; he was just the man who lived in the same house as him, to be fair. He never acted like it when Simon was a child, until now, but well, what could he do now? Hah, that's what he used to think.
At the end of the day, his mother asked Simon to go get her something from the souvenir store. They would go and bring the car closer meanwhile. Simba did what she told. It hadn't been a bad day, actually. He had a nice time watching the felines show, the siren act and some aereal performance. He even forgot about the "party of the year" his friends at school were giving that night. When Simon came back to the parking lot he just saw the back of his car accelerating in contrary direction of him.
"What the f....?!" He yelled at the air and dropped the bag he was carrying. He took his cellphone out from his jeans pocket and immediately called his father. "What the hell is going on? Where the fuck you think you're going?" Simon's father sighed and hung up the phone. Simba ran after the car a couple miles, but it was useless. The car was way too far from him, and even though he could get a cab and go home, he knew what they had just done to him. They had abandoned him.
"It's for your own good. We'll be back someday. Love, mom." She sent him a text, and before he could reply, the battery died. Simon roared angrily and threw away his phone, making it shatter in pieces. He then turned back and started walking back to the circus. Simon asked some guy where the offices were, and kept walking until he saw a big door. "Ringmasters" it said on it.
Simon sighed and knocked the door. "Come in." Someone said.
"I.... I'm Simon Leon. I need a job."
