Tenko is a bitch

Oh thank god it’s not just me. She’s not even an entertaining bitch like Miu, or plot-relevantly nasty like Touko. Even Hiyoko started growing on me through her friendship with Mahiru - I feel like with Mahiru’s guidance, she could have gotten better had she lived longer. I don’t normally like bitchy characters, I admit it, but sometimes they can grow on me.

Tenko is not growing on me. Instead, she’s gone from “Ooh, is she the ditzy athlete of the group? I loved Aoi and Akane!” to “shut up shut up shut up, you’re the same damn joke over and over again and it wasn’t even funny or cute the first time”. I don’t exactly want to say I want her to die, because if this was the sort of game where the majority of the cast could reasonably make it to the end alive, I wouldn’t be wishing for her death. Just rolling my eyes every time she speaks. But... well, this isn’t that sort of game, so if someone has to die, then... besides, the longer she stays in the game, the smaller the crowd gets, and the more she gets to speak. No thank you. I’m not willing to let go of most of these characters, even a few I wasn’t sure about have grown on me like Ryoma, Kaito, and Kirumi, and while I don’t yet love Maki I still think she has a chance to win me over... but Tenko’s only been grating on me more and more as time goes by.

If any of my followers like Tenko, then yay! Have fun with her! I hope her storyline went in a way that pleased you! ...but I would not miss her if it came to that.

Watch Rabowski's Let's Play of DRV3, It's the best in my opinion. NicoB has some comedy commentaries if that's more your style.

Someone else suggested an LP (I forget which one offhand), but for something like this, I don’t want to watch an LP - I’d rather watch the story unfold by itself, without anyone’s commentary. Commentary can be fun when I already know how it goes, I’ve been enjoying Lucahjin’s blind run of DR1, but for the very first time, I just want a playthrough. I’ve been watching the no-commentary run by Noire Blue and it’s working fine, so I don’t need another one.
