Doll's house, by TDO Architecture
"Most doll's houses are mini versions of existing homes, but when we asked London-based TDO to design a contemporary doll's house, it opted for the opposite approach. Using Le Corbusier's Villa Savoye as a starting point, TDO decided to create a house that could one day become a full-scale reality. To allow for interaction with all areas, the house is designed vertically. Once opened, it reveals a miniature modernist world traversed by a series of ramps that form a striking lattice structure. When closed, a flick of a switch deftly transforms the house into a softly glowing lamp, its translucent façade hinting at the fun within."
