So @legend-of-the-fandoms has introduced me to this Tales of Xadia creature called Gluggis.

It’s a giant squid creature that is disguised as an island and lures in would be explorers. In ToX it says that Gluggis lives in the northern seas, but considering that they have Palm-trees growing on their head, I’m gonna guess that they at least occasionally spend some time in warmer waters.

Now, I feel like we’ve seen this creature somewhere…

Especially that pattern

Xadian Flora and Fauna

Lava Geckos

Lava Geckos are a small and molten-like lizards, they can defense curl into a ball and rolling away, they have a smaller bulbous appendage at the end of their tail that they can drop while escaping predators.

The motel cracks of their scales and the spikes on their bodies show a opal-like pattern.

These Geckos are native to The Borderlands.

Griffins/Gryphons

These skybound animals vary in appearance, more often than not appear with Owl faces and panther like bodies and tails.

Griffin eyes are sharp and keen as using one in a dark magic spell ensures accuracy for an attack.

Moonstirders

These Moon Primal animals are native to the Moonshadow forest, they are prideful, stubborn, solitary, and notoriously difficult to domesticate and tame. It is recommended that riders be experienced before attempting to ride one.
