Rayla gasped. Immediately dropping the weapon.
With widened eyes, she looked at how Callum’s body fell forward, and she barely had time to grab him and lay him gently on the ground.
His back was on her knees, while one of her hands supported his head.
Red was staining all his chest.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” she cried, her free hand reaching his chest trying in vain to cover up the wound.
