[ FREDDIE THORP / CIS MALE / HE/HIM ] Well, look who it is; DECLAN O'CONNELL, running around Mystic Falls as a NEWCOMER. Looking at them, you wouldn’t think they were 22 / 22 and a HUMAN. But then again, you never know who or what is lurking in the darkness. That being said, at least they’re PASSIONATE, even if they are a bit MANIPULATIVE, so that’s something, right?

Declan is wonderfully human. He knows nothing about the supernatural (but i would love if he was getting compelled by someone) or for him to have secretly known a witch. 

He was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland. His father, Micheal (brother to Kieren and Cami's father) met Declan's mother, Amelia, a uptight Irish girl when he was travelling and they hit it off. Declan's father created an empire in Ireland, owning many businesses, fitting perfectly with Declan's mother's lifestyle.

Declan was raised with limited love, his parents caring more about their place in society than him, but he had friends from his rich private school and that was good enough for him. He was for a brief time, dating both of best friends (m and f) before one of them moved away, causing the throuple to break up.

Declan's father always wanted him to go into the family business, however grey morally it was, but Declan had other ideas, wanting to be a chef. He left Dublin to attend college in Mystic Falls last year, to get away from his family drama and follow his dream of being a chef. Though he knows his father disapproves, Declan (against his morals) threatened to tell his his mother the truth of his father’s affair if he didn’t pay for him to come to college over here. Though of course he knows his mother already knows the truth of the affiar and is also having her own. 

He has been at Mystic Falls for a year, returning after the summer, after going hope to visit his family.

[ MALESE JOW / CIS FEMALE / SHE/HER ] Well, look who it is; ANNA ZHU, running around Mystic Falls as a NEWCOMER. Looking at them, you wouldn’t think they were 20 / 600+ and a VAMPIRE. But then again, you never know who or what is lurking in the darkness. That being said, at least they’re LOYAL, even if they are a bit CALCULATING, so that’s something, right?

Anna as we know and love her. She might appear innocent but lets not forget all the things she was willing to do to get her mother back. Excited to explore Anna's history more. Will add more when the details are worked out, but she will know the Mikaelson's from when she was human (and a psychic). The events leading to her death and being saved/turned at the hands of Kol. It is possible that characters would not recall Anna due to her ability to hidden in plain sight, behind her mother. Kol being one of the first person to really see her.

She would also be responsible for turning her mother into a vampire, so their family could be together forever. I would love a sibling for Anna, maybe who split from Peral and Anna briefly before Mystic Falls, leading to her being safe from imprisonment.

I would love connections for Anna from people she knew when she was with her mother, maybe before they picked up Katherine. Or other young vampires they picked up before Katherine got Pearl and those still with them trapped in the tomb.

Anna would have turned or met up with other vampires after losing her mother. Maybe has a small coven again. So open to connection for that as well.

[ CANDICE PATTON / CIS FEMALE / SHE/HER ] Well, look who it is; JENNA SOMMERS, running around Mystic Falls as a LOCAL. Looking at them, you wouldn’t think they were 29 / 29 and a HUMAN. But then again, you never know who or what is lurking in the darkness. That being said, at least they’re LOVING, even if they are a bit IMMATURE, so that’s something, right?

Jenna is the baby sister of Miranda Sommers, making her the aunt of Elena and Jeremy. She is 8 years younger than Miranda and was always a bit of a free spirit.

Jenna was adopted many years after her older sister Miranda was born, when her parents failed to be able to conceive anymore children, and they instead turned to adoption, bringing Jenna into their family.

Jenna has been the lighthearted baby sister, in college, studying and partying. She had most recently been living in France, attending college there as she worked on her PHD in psychology, choosing to move to study aboard after her break up with Logan Fell.

Jenna returned to town when Miranda and Grayson died, and ended up taking Jeremy and Elena back with her to visit with her in France, while she packs up her life and prepares to come home.

Jenna is unsure how to support Elena and Jeremy and doesn't know how to be like her sister.
