GREAT question! You can brew in whatever makes you happy, but these are my thoughts on the matter. Check out our blog post "Tea Brewing 101" for more depth on this!

How do you brew tea?
Just stick the tea in some water, does it matter how or the temp of the water?
In a kettle, then pour the hot water over the tea in a mug, does type matter?
Electric kettle, then pour the hot water over the tea in a mug, how else?
Stovetop kettle, then pour the hot water over the tea in a mug, it’s different
On the stove in a pot, like how it was discovered and meant to be made
In a teapot, the most traditional of forms, naturally
Microwave the water in the mug, then add the tea bag, quickest & most efficient
I have a magical stovetop and just stick a mug of water directly on the stove ✨
In a pot/cast iron kettle over the campfire, like a pioneer
Cold brew tea, time is a concept I don’t believe in, it takes hours to perfect
Another intriguing way that was not listed above (please enlighten us in tags)
I couldn’t help but make this post after reading one of my favorite tea posts. Because I realized we all have different concepts of how to “normally” do things, like brew tea.
Feel free to also add where you’re from in the tags, if you wish .
(Post is not my own but I couldn’t get the post with all the responses without linking to my own reblog):
