Tea with Emi day 6

My dad brought me this from Newfoundland!

It smells very citrusy, and very strong. I’m not a fan of the smell so I had very little expectation for the tea.

But it’s actually much mellower once brewed, with a slightly pinkish orange colour and it really does taste like an orange popsicle!

Rosehips: peace and health

Orange: summer, sun, energy

Apple: hardiness, strength

Hibiscus: love, health

Tea with Emi Day 3

Last night my parents went to ikea and brought back this peppermint cocoa tea.

It tastes mostly like regular peppermint but a bit fuller due to the cocoa and licorice in the leaves. It was absolutely perfect to unwind with after the stress of my 18 hour day yesterday.

Today I’m sick so I made instant matcha. It’s not as witchy and romantic as brewing fresh tea from loose leaves but it’ll do in a pinch.

Tea with Emi day 4

Today I had a nice cup of Earl Grey, it’s a classic for a reason! Actually though, I really didn’t like Earl Grey when I had it in tea bags for multiple years, but I have a loose leaf one and honestly it’s lovely with some sugar and lemon!

Also I’ve realized that all my tea photos look the same orz

Today is a Cherry Green tea! It’s light and refreshing, great for waking up and getting ready for the day!

Tea with Emi Day 1.

Today out of my 9 teas and counting I made a wild berry black tea. It’s reminiscent of the fruit tea my grandmother made for me as a child, as well that as a fruity tea it tastes summery and warm, perfect for a snowstorm like today!
