Tea-nacity || Isaiah & Cass
It’d been a day and the potions were starting to wear off. The blond reached down to his saddle bag, feeling around for his flask only to find it with a little sliver of liquid still in it. “Damn it.” He spoke under his breath, shuffling it back into it’s pocket properly. At least he wasn’t going to meet anyone that he couldn’t truly get along with. While he knew he and Isaiah still had a ways to go before they could say they’d be good friends, so far Cass wasn’t at all disappointed by the progress they’d made in a short amount of time. Hopefully that would be enough to keep him in good spirits while they attempted to study. Attempted being the key word.
The door sounded to the cafe as he’d stepped in. No sign of Isaiah just yet. Of course. Which wasn’t a terrible thing. The blond slung his bag onto one of the smaller tables and made his way to snag a snack for the both of them. His hands rested against his knees as he bent down to take a gander at the baked goods they had on display for that day. His smile pulled a ways back when he’d been able to readily recognize Valor’s handiwork over all the other’s. The blond stood back up when the worker behind the counter asked if he was ready and gave an order for two teas and an assortment of a few different pastries. He wasn’t entirely sure how hungry Isaiah would be but he figured it was better to be safe than sorry.
Snacks in hand, Cass returned and situated himself in the seat facing towards the door. If for no other reason than to be able to give Isaiah a look when he’d finally decided to join him. Not that he’d actually mean it but still it didn’t hurt to give someone a hard time every now and then. IT was odd to him that he’d actually gotten to the point where he felt he could start to act like everyone else around him. Cassio turned towards his bag, pulling out his book from his class before. His knuckles knocked against the flask and his eyes fluttered shut. It wasn’t enough to help him right then and while he’d contemplated for a second time, he’d grabbed the book and simply closed over the bag’s cover again.
Just be have a little patience.
