Enter, Chell Xerxes- The Chimera

To most, Chell is not anyone to cross or anger- though few have seen that side of her and escaped without some sort of injury. Part natural hybrid and part successful lab experiment, Chell hailed from a street gang in the heart of New Mexico run by their 'Sibling', Luca, a fellow escaped hybrid who bore a vengeful streak to the ones that used them. The Group known as the Dark Alley was formed as a collective of escaped experiments, societal rejects, and people needing a place amidst the madness of the world.

Chell took the role of assassin and Toxin Producer thanks to their ability to create powerful venoms using the variety created by their own fangs, as well as going as backup to most dealings in order to handle anything that may happen to go wrong. With this, she quickly became known as a vicious protector to those within the gang, and a savage monster to those that would oppose the Dark Alley.

The Beast that was the Chimera, guarding the territory of monsters.

After a few years, the Dark Alley received contact from Darius Veraden- an invitation to join their rapidly growing syndicate. With the Dark Alley's own territory growing rapidly, Luca knew that it wouldn't be a terrible idea to at least negotiate with The Raven King.

Chell was sent to handle negotiations and agreed to join the syndicate herself on the condition that protection would be granted to The Dark Alley. Darius saw no issue with this and welcomed her to the team where she continued to carry out assassinations as needed. She also joined the group that handled various substances and material production and continues to maintain her reputation as a venomous menace.

Enjoys: Reptiles, a hot cup of coffee, relaxing in a tree, caring for the snakes in her hair, blood(on occasion), soft textures

Hates: most carbonated drinks, high-pitched loud noises, people harming animals, the smell of sulfur, people touching their hair without permission

Notes: Everyone in the Syndicate Calls her Mera. Darius started it accidentally and most people within the syndicate don't even know her real name.

jk, jk, some of them deserve to suffer. I really like the dynamic between Roxxy(Written by Spork) and Darius. The whole 'monster loving monster' plus the 'we're more than what the past has left us' and the addition of working through past relationship trauma? Tasty. Delightful.

For more self-contained things, I love Astra/Mira on the grounds that having a mysterious entity utterly obsessed with a sleep deprived and under caffeinated Hacker, and trying to impress them with massive displays of power and affection is very silly and also. Goals.

Oof, so back in the day I had a character named Wenira(coming soon to this blog actually) who was a spider queen from the Don't Starve Fandom. As most characters go, she had a sad backstop which led her to being trapped on The Constant as a monster designed to kill other people. She overcame her instincts, made friends with the people she was ment to kill, fell in love, and made an entiere life out of what was ment to be Hell.

And those who were in charge, weren't happy about that. Rping her descent back into madness, being forced into nearly killing the love of her life and children, then begging to make a deal with the ruler so that it would never happen again was... amazing. The end result actually having all of it taken away from her, as she was removed from the Constant. But uh, we'll get to that ;)

Again, Wenira is definitely up there along with Darius; I love their complexities as characters, and their duality of how they deal with business vs the people they care about!
